About Swiss Texan

Hi folks, My fondest memories as a child were traveling across the United States in the backseat of my parents’ car, together with my next oldest brother and sometimes, our teenage sister! Our Dad would stop at all of the national parks and we would stay in motels. Later, I discovered the joy of camping in the gorgeous state of Arkansas. So much to see! But then, I went on a further journey, which took me to Switzerland and beyond! Recently, my Swiss husband and I moved back to the United States, and settled in Austin, Texas. From here, we discovered the joy of traveling from Texas to Canada. During these travels we rented a Basecamp through Outdoorsy and got hooked! Now, we would like to share our Cheyenne Basecamp with others. Hope that we can meet!
