Terrible Experience - Do Not Rent!I had an extremely disappointing experience with this RV rental. I paid extra for the owner to deliver the RV, but upon arrival, it was clear that the vehicle was not properly cleaned—both inside and out. The owner simply dropped it off, pointed out that the gas tank was half full, and left without setting up any essentials. The refrigerator wasn’t turned on, the slides were not extended, and he didn’t check to ensure the TV was working.As I began loading the RV, more issues became apparent. The RV had clearly not been serviced; warning lights kept indicating it needed an oil change. When I extended the slides, I noticed the flooring was torn, and the sliding doors to the back were broken. My kids were eager to get inside and watch some of their favorite movies, but the TV did not work. The most frustrating part was the refrigerator—it never got cold. My wife had spent hundreds on food that we couldn’t keep fresh. We had to buy extra ice chests, cluttering the floor and making it difficult to move around.Once we arrived at the campsite, the situation only got worse. The generator, which the owner described as “loud,” turned out to be unbearably noisy. It was so disruptive that fellow campers complained, and the campground host even asked me not to use it. When I inspected the generator, I discovered that the exhaust pipe was old, worn, and rusted. It was broken where the rust had eaten through the metal, causing the excessive noise.Additionally, none of the outlets in the front of the RV worked, so even making a simple cup of coffee was a hassle. To top it all off, the water heater was broken, forcing my wife and kids to take cold showers.I’ve rented RVs every summer for the past 24 years for our annual family camping trips, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. I cannot recommend renting this RV.
