Welcome to Van Island Adventures hosted with Outdoorsy! We are new to hosting on outdoorsy! We wanted to take our love for the outdoors and turn it into a business! We are learning as we go, constantly evolving and updating our vans and adding more to the fleet! We are still exploring the island and would love to hear from you and all your adventures! Bring the dogs and let’s hit the road!

The RV was generally a good experience. Easy pick up location and to drive. Some of the crockery was mouldy, and the gas stove was difficult to light initially- would be good to have instructions on use of things in the vehicle. Eg, lights, inverter, cook stove etc.
When driving everything in the car moves everywhere- maybe some netting or securing devices would be handy. The awning was broken and unusable, and due to unforeseen circumstances we had to drop car off 45min from Victoria- although was reimbursed $20 by Justin.
We had a lovely trip overall. Would still recommend the RV- could use some tune ups to increase the overall experience.

LUNA WAS AMAZING - my girlfriend & I spent 7 nights in Luna. It’s never gave us any problems & the indoor gas stove was the best benefit. You can make coffee in the morning while still in bed & cook amazing dinners as the stove provides solid heat. Comes with everything you need!

Had a great experience with Justin very easy to deal with ! The van was excellent my daughter and I really enjoyed touring around and camping was comfortable and really nice having pretty much everything we needed provided. Will definitely use again for future trips !

Absolutely loved our trip. Justin was an amazing host and catered to our needs, the van had everything we needed and took us to all the places we needed. Would definitely recommend!!!

J’ai adoré mon séjour. Très fonctionnel avec tout le matériel nécessaire pour passer de bonnes vacances en van. Justin est très réactif et ne te laissera pas avec une question sans réponse. Je recommande ++

It was really nice to have a full comfy bed to sleep in! We also appreciated the camping starter kit with the kitchenware, stove, etc.. The front of the vehicle is also super comfy for long stretches of driving.

I had the best week travelling Vancouver island in Apollo. Justin was so helpful and happy to be of assistance anytime. The bed is super comfy and the gas stove is fab! I was a little nervous about driving such a large vehicle but it was super easy to drive. Thank you!!

Overall, my experience was positive. The host was very responsive and provided everything I needed, including firewood and a heater, which I really appreciated. The camper, however, is a bit older, so I had some trouble starting it one morning. Also, during heavy rain, the rear-right part of the roof leaked slightly, which made the lower sleeping area less comfortable.

Justin’s Chevrolet is a cozy classic that instantly makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time — just like in an old-school road trip movie. We rented the car for two weeks and enjoyed every moment with it. It has great character and made for many memorable drives.
Justin was super friendly, always easy to reach, and quick to help whenever we needed something. Overall, a wonderful experience.
