Our trip was great but the RV was only okay. David was very responsive, however, there were several issues with RV that we wish we had known about beforehand. The main door did not open from the outside, we could not get the heat or hot water to work during the trip, the ladder was broken, the table leg was pretty much broken, there was a missing section on the inside of one of the storage doors that cut one of guest's hands, the back bumper is broken. All that being said the RV has a lot of storage and comfortably slept all 5 of us.

Hi Elizabeth -- thanks for the feedback and I'm glad that overall you have a great trip. Because your feedback was so different than others', I thought it was important to respond. This is the first time anyone has reported the door lock not working, but I will check it out and order a replacement if needed.. As for the heat and hot water not working, that tells me that the gas was likely not flowing at all. Had I known this during your trip, I would have simply directed you to turn on the gas valve (it sounds like the person who added the propane failed to open the valve). The heater is fairly new and has worked fine for all other guests. As for the ladder, I will tighten the screws. The table leg merely needs another screw -- I shall add one - but I'm assuming that you were able to use the table as needed. I'm sorry that one of your guests cut their hand. Again, this has never happened before, but I will make sure that I check all storage doors for anything sharp. Yes, the back bumper is bent from the previous renter. I have a new bumper on order but it did not arrive before your trip. But I'm assuming that the bent bumper in no way affected your driving. I'm glad that you found the RV big enough to accomodate all five of you.

With the highest recommendation, rent this RV. David is an attentive host and made our trip a breeze. The RV's charm is undeniable. The engine and transmission are strong and ran highway 70's grades without issue. We dry camped (boondocking) for three nights with two adults. You can absolutely make four adults work on this setup, or kids, or whatever your situation is. The slide-out provides a spacious interior. Our travel companions all had newer rigs and the 2007 WB Access held its own in comfort and amenity. Pound for pound, you're not going to find a better host or rental.

Great RV. Definitely not the newest but also very very comfortable for 3 grown dudes to road trip and sleep in. Just the right amount of amenities like toilet and hot shower and cooking tools. Dave is a very easy host to work with.

I had a great trip with Dave's RV! Everything works smoothly. Dave was also super easy to reach out if you have any concerns. Like any other older RV, you should not expect a luxurious interior. For us, this classic van was perfect for our trip. I highly recommend Dave's van for all of you who want to enjoy life on the road & wilderness.

David was great to work with through the entire process from renting to pick up and drop off. We’re not new to camping but this was our first time in a rv. He explained everything well, provided a detailed document that we referred to throughout the trip.

Our experience with David and the Winnebago (Willy) was nothing short of perfect. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Our baby had a amazing time and slept like a king.

David was very responsive and the RV worked well for the trip we were taking! We had some difficulties with a couple of things, but overall I assume that contributed to us never having used an RV before. We had a blast and felt like the price was very fair.
