John is a great host: his responses were quick and accommodating.
The van was a brilliant way to travel the island - great for those who are flying in and like to camp. It has everything! The bed was comfortable (incl oom darkening window shades). The gear was easy to access and in good condition. It's an older van with a few idiosyncracies, but it drove well and was completely reliable. It was delivered by John's dad vacuumed and clean. I would use it again.

That was a great experience for me. With the van I was able to explore this beautiful island that I love. So convenient ! Easy to drive, it has everything I need for cooking and I slept very well ! Careful in Tofino cause it’s not a friendly van city. Thanks John !

Amazing week in the raspberry! Couldn't recommend the van and John enough. Perfectly kitted out with everything you need for a week and drives brilliantly. John and his dad were excellent and so helpful. Would definitely recommend and go with raspberry again if I needed another week on the island. Thank you!

We had such a wonderful experience with John! Fantastic communication and very courteous, friendly and helpful. The van drives great and has everything you could possibly need for a good camping experience. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept very well (I'm like the princess and the pea so this was a big deal for me). The bed was plenty enough space for 2 to sleep comfortably. You're not able to sit up in the bed while your in it so we hit our heads a few times, and getting in and out was occasionally challenging but wasn't a big deal. We still very much enjoyed our experience. The location for pick up was a 30 min drive from the airport without traffic but expect a longer drive during rush hour times. The being said, John was extremely accommodating and willing to do drop off at a closer location to the airport for us to save us on time. John was such a pleasure that we will definitely be using his vehicles the next time we're in the area. Five stars for sure!

This van was unreal, it was the perfect size for 2 of us and had pretty much everything we needed! There was heaps of space under the bed for storage of our bags, and the front seats were super spacious. The bed was comfy and the sheets and everything were clean. The cooktop provided and the pans worked amazing, we never had an issue with it and could boil water for coffee so quick. The van itself drove super easy and was great on fuel! We had a flat battery problem but John responded to us so quickly and we had it resolved in under an hour. Which with a new battery shouldn’t be a problem again for anyone else! John was a legend to communicate with and made the whole process really easy, would 100% recommend renting through him. He was super friendly and had great recommendations for us on pickup! Overall we had an amazing trip and felt so lucky getting this van!

Our Trip to Vancouver Island was absolutely amazing. We had Blackberry for a week and the camper van proved to be a great choice for our travelling vacation. My wife and I found the bed to be more comfortable, spacious and cozy than we expected. We didn’t do any cooking, but we used the camp stove each morning to boil water for our coffee which worked very well. All the necessities were easily stored under the bed including our 2 suitcases. The island scenery was breathtaking and the van got us to as many spots as we could take in over our 7 nights! John was a great host. He was very good to communicate with and worked with our flight itinerary, making the trip a hassle free experience.

My experience with Raspberry was absolutely amazing. I rented it for a week and travelled around Vancouver island. The van is as big as it has to be but at the same time small enough for easy parking! Super comfortable bed, clean linen, all amenities for cooking and many more, made my trip easy and relaxed.

Our experience was excellent—John and Mike are two exceptionally kind people. Communication was easy, everything went smoothly with the handover, and they gave us some really valuable tips. Quicksilver got us reliably across Vancouver Island, the bed was very comfortable, and it had everything we needed for a road trip. We would book with John again anytime and can highly recommend it to everyone!

I had such an amazing time with Quicksilver. Travelled every corner of the island and sleeped like a baby every night. John is a great entrepreneur and communicator. I had a quick issue - slow leak on a tire - but sometimes, the road gets a bit rough (in Provincial Parka). John was there to help/guide and the rest of the trip was a gem ! I'm now back in town and... I kinda missed - already - the Quicksilver love.
