Hi there! We're Dan and Christine - lifelong Vermonters and lovers of crisp air, quiet lakes, mountains, back roads and new adventures. Our camper van, "Ruby", is our way of sharing the magic of Vermont and beyond with people who crave the freedom to explore while roaming in comfort. When we are not out exploring, we're usually working on home projects or finding other outdoor activities. If you need tips on the best local spots, scenic drives, or quiet places to park, we’re always happy to share a few of our favorite hidden gems.

Ruby was an amazing camper van and made our trip so much more enjoyable! Christine was incredibly communicative throughout the process, met us at the airport, and gave us a thorough walkthrough before we hit the road. The van was in excellent condition, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was the perfect home base to come back to after long hikes and other adventures. We would highly recommend both Ruby and Christine and Dan to anyone looking for a fantastic camper van rental. Thanks for helping make our trip such a great experience!

The van was as described. What I didn't realize was that because of the pop up roof, there is no ceiling fan. Even in early June, it still got quite warm inside. Would have preferred a van with a fan.

I had a great weekend renting “Ruby” for a second weekend to ski Killington. This van has a great layout inside and they provide everything you need to prepare meals and have a great night sleep!

“Ruby” is a great van. It has the layout and features which I want when I buy a van. The kitchen setup and all the stuff provided with the van made making meals and eating very enjoyable! So many storage locations helped me organize my stuff. It was an awesome 4 day spring skiing and tailgating experience at Killington!

My husband and I rented Ruby for SLU baseball games and a couple of nights at Swan Bay. This was only our second RV trip but Christine made it so easy. Before pick up Christine was responsive to all our questions and even sent an instructional video for Ruby which was extremely helpful. Ruby was easy to drive and we had plenty of room inside even on the days it was cold and rainy (which was most of the days). Despite the bad weather we had a great trip. Highly recommend Ruby!

had everything we needed for cooking and sleeping. Everything was very organized. Also,

We rented Ruby for our trip to Vermont & New Hampshire and lived in it for six days. The entire experience was incredible. From the start, Christine was quick to answer all my questions, even before I booked. Once we confirmed, she provided detailed, helpful information that made everything clear.They thought of everything. We didn’t need to pack linens, cooking utensils, or really anything extra. The freshwater tank was already full, and the van was stocked with everything we could possibly need. One unexpected highlight was the shower. We had very long and strenuous days and many campgrounds in the area only have coin-operated showers. We never had time to get change. I used the van’s shower three different times, and it made all the difference. The beds were also very comfortable, and it was quiet inside, making for great sleep.
