Ken was an incredible host - his communication throughout the entire reservation process, which was started 9 months in advance, was incredible. His response time to my questions was within the same business day and he was always ready to assist. The RV was in excellent condition - clean, comfortable and equipped with all the neccessities. We rented the RV for the ABQ balloon festival and had it delivered and set up on the grounds. This was our first experience with an RV and Ken took the time to go over all the basics on how to manage things before he left it in our hands. Even during the festival, when I reached out with a question, he responded quickly. I highly reccommend 505 RV Rentals because the level of customer service and support was impressive and the RV was in tip-top shape. I look forward to working with Ken again!

Ken is a great teacher and responds quickly when you text him from the road. This rig is very easy to drive, but rattles a lot while driving. Gets about 13mpg. Well-stocked with kitchen equipment, soap, tp, etc. Only quibble is we were supposed to get a reduced mileage charge but that did not occur.

Rented the sprinter van (class b). Ken was extremely easy to work with and fun to chat with. The van was well equipped and ready to go when we picked it up. Had a great experience. Instead of considering purchasing a van, we will just rent from Ken when we decide to travel in an rv again.

Great first time experience! Ken was very thorough and helpful - taught me everything I needed to know to hook up, set up and tear down. The travel trailer we rented was clean and ready for us to use - great service and great fun!

We really had fun in this little Sunchaser, and especially appreciated it in the rain. Ken makes the whole experience very pleasant. One thing I'd note is that the Outdoorsy roadside assistance plan is terrible. If you have AAA, use them instead. Ken can't be blamed for the Outdoorsy lousy insurance plan, and in fact he made it a lot easier to deal with when the guys who showed up to change a tire had no tools !! Ken keeps the RV loaded with everything you (or the inept roadside assistance folks) need.

505RV RentalMy wife and I had never used an RV before; we are tent campers. We thought an RV would be good for camping in cold weather. Indeed it was! We rented a Winnebago Era Class B Camper Van Mercedes Sprinter from 505 RV Rentals in Bernalillo, NM near Albuquerque. The owner, Ken Myers was very communicative throughout the process. When we arrived to pick up the Sprinter he spent over an hour with us going over all the facilities in the RV. The 2 burner propane cook stove worked well for all the meals we made. There was great lighting all around the inside for cooking and reading. The propane/electric fridge kept our food and drinks cool; the little freezer compartment even kept ice. All the pots, pans and dishes were of good quality and stacked neatly with fabric pads to prevent rattling. We liked eating at the table set up in front of the sofa at the rear. At night that sofa folded down to make a very comfortable queen bed. The heating was great as it was in the 20’s outside at night and we had a good amount of snow one day. We didn’t use the little onboard bathroom, preferring to use the campground facilities. Two nights we had electrical hook-ups; two nights not. Nevertheless, we only ran the generator for 15 minutes during the 4 days. The supplies of water and propane were more than enough for our trip. Dumping the waste water and having the propane refiled at the end of the trip were easy, as Ken showed us.We did have problems dealing with the driver ID/insurance approval process. Ken finally had to take care of it although it wasn’t his problem. There seemed to be multiple agencies involved: Persona, Outdoorsy, Wheelbase. When a customer is renting an RV and applying for insurance (1) let them know that an identity request will come from “Persona.” (2) The Persona ID request should include information about the source of the request. (3) Outdoorsy should provide contact information for support so customers know who to contact.
