We had the pleasure of renting from Bert this past spring. Our experience with the van and Bert was phenomenal, better than any other experience we’ve had while renting an RV or AirBnB. From the moment we booked our trip, he answered any questions we had quickly. Bert allowed us to meet up with him early to pick up the van, and he thoroughly explained the van to us. We appreciated his detailed notes that were left with the van as we traveled. Since we traveled from out-of-state, he provided all of the necessary items to make our trip enjoyable (dishware, linens, entertainment). Bert’s meticulous cleaning and care for his van gives you a sense of peace during times of Covid as well. He was readily available to answer any questions we had during our trip, and made our first Oregon adventure perfect. If you are even questioning if you should rent from Bert, stop. You NEED to rent from him. He provided incredible service and we absolutely loved getting to meet such a hospitable man. He was genuinely the nicest person we’ve met through our renting experiences and we cannot wait to rent from Bert again as we plan more PNW adventures.

Bert was fantastic, he picked us up from the airport and was very welcoming and friendly, he even wrote us a welcome card :) The van is meticulously cleaned and maintained, Bert was very detailed in explaining everything about it, answering our questions and providing all the necessary items to make our trip more enjoyable (dishware, towels, linens, books, entertainment, even a hatchet for chopping wood for the campfire). We had some minor questions during the trip regarding the van and Bert made sure to resolve them over the phone in no time. Overall, we had a great time touring the coast of Oregon and would love to rent from Bert again in the future!

My travel companion and I cannot say enough about this RV renter, Bert is a class act. We loved our trip around Oregon for a beautiful week this May. Berts Winnebago Sprinter van was so easy to manage, got great gas mileage and was comfortable for two people. He was so accommodating to our requests as “newbie” RV’ers. Bert was readily available for any questions or issues we had, as rookies. So many extras are the best kept secret if you choose to take this van out on the road. Happy Trails! Thank you Bert ! 5 Star Rental and experience. Bert the owner made our trip so easy. He took the time to explain everything with the van at pick up. The van was clean, in great condition and very comfortable to travel in. Although we didn't sleep in the van it was perfect having a bathroom available. Returning the van was a snap and we appreciated it after a long drive home. Thanks so much Bert!

Overall our experience with Outdoorsy and Bert (owner of van) was great. Being our first time flying to a destination and renting a camper van, we had a fantastic time. The owner of the van was very accommodating to our needs and scheduling. Bert enhanced our pleasure and experience of our trip. Thank you Bert! We look forward to our trip in August and renting from you again.

We had a great experience with Bert from beginning to end. Communication before the rental began was prompt and clear, and on pickup day, Bert have a thorough tutorial on the RV’s features, which was really helpful for first time RV’ers like us. He even let us park our car in his driveway, and lent us his Yakima bike rack! The RV itself was very nice as advertised, and easy to drive. Bert did a wonderful job of providing everything we needed and had thoughtful touches throughout the RV. A couple times during the trip we texted Bert with some questions and he was prompt to respond. Returning the RV was a breeze too. Bert’s a nice guy, and we will definitely look him first should we rent an RV again in the future!

Bert is an awesome host, very friendly and accommodating. His pride of ownership shows in the cleanliness and condition of the van. Very informative and spent plenty of time before we even booked our trip to answer questions and gave us a thorough overview, walk through and test drive prior to our departure. He was also easily available during our trip for questions, but we had absolutely no troubles with the van. We drove down the coast of Oregon into California, through the redwoods, Rogue River and Sisters/Bend area before returning to Portland. We loved the flexibility of having our home on wheels which made it incredibly easy to pull over and have an oceanside lunch or hike 8 miles of beautiful waterfall trails, hop back in the van to get cleaned up and head to dinner before heading back to any number of amazing campsites that we utilized along the way. All in all a fabulous experience. 10/10 stars for Bert and his escape van! Thank you so much for sharing your van with us so we could experience a true bucket list trip.

We made our first RV/Van trip as a family to Walla Walla, Willowas and Hells Canyon in August of 2020. Bert's van is very nice and provided all the amenities we were looking for. You get plenty of stares from people checking out Bert's beautiful van. Bert was very connected and available to help us before, during and after the trip, as we were newbies. We slept 2 in the van but had two kids sleep in the tents. Bert told us the van is setup for 2 and I certainly agree with him afterwards as it got a bit tight with the four of us changing. The Van drives really nice and the mbz diesel is quite fuel efficient. We preferred non hook-up camp sites because the were less crowded and beautiful where we were. The battery and gas will last a quite a few days and you have a generator to recharge them. We had an amazing trip and hope to plan another in the future.

My wife and I had an amazing time traveling in Bert's Van for a week. Bert thought of everything you'd need on a trip and made sure that it was stocked in the Van. He went above and beyond and was super accommodating and helpful. The Van is worth renting and when you add Bert's service on top of it, it makes for a carefree, enjoyable adventure.

I loved my Winnebsgo Sprinter van experience! I'm considering becoming an owner and this rental was a test drive of sorts for me. I found it fun to drive and so convenient to have my bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen with me on the go. I traveled to Lake Quinault and the rainforest and made my home among the moss covered old growth trees.

Words cannot describe how accommodating and amazing this van experience was. From pick up to drop off, Bert was always responsive and helpful towards us and our adventure. He has thought of EVERYTHING you could possibly need in the van - all you need is to buy your food and bring your clothes! As someone new to the van life, he helped ease all my nerves and had everything written down in the vehicle. I cannot recommend this experience more and if I'm back in the PNW, I will be checking to see if this is available again!

The Sprinter Era is a luxury campervan... true to its looks! It has all the amenities you would need for a roadtrip and camping ! Bert - the owner had all the nitty gritties well thought of and even before the trip, he had all our questions answered. My husband and I were a but nervous at the start given Covid but the Van was extremely well cleaned, sanitized with extra cleaning supplies! Bert gets full marks for being such an amazing host!. Through out the trip we had a lot of tourists ask about the van from us, so 100 % recommend. Only point to note is that if you are over 6ft tall, you will have to squeeze into the bathroom / shower area.

Bert was a fantastic “host”! He was kind, and responsive. Thoughtful touches onboard. We will rent this rig from him again! We loved 3Creeks Lake (South of Sisters) and Strawberry Lake (South of Prairie City)
