DO NOT RENT THIS RV...A TOTAL NIGHTMARE!! I would love to say we had a great experience renting from Alex but nothing could be farther from the truth. It’s not in our nature to leave bad reviews or reviews in general unless our experience was a special one.. let me tell you. This was a special one, but not in the way you’d hope. Before we even had a chance to leave our driveway, the generator stopped working, which apparently stopped the refrigerator from working (we paid for it be delivered a day earlier so we could load up and have everything set to leave the next morning).. when we woke up generator was still not working, fridge was still not working and resulted in a waste of 500$ worth of groceries. Skip forward Alex came back to work on the generator and got that up and running, however the refrigerator never kicked back on so we had to purchase two small fridges to store our food in. It only snow balled from there.. mechanical problems, generator issues, driving issues, (you basically feel like your driving a boat in rough seas due to busted alignment and springs) refrigerator issues etc we were forced to change our direction and had to replan on the road (with 3 kids and two dogs in tow) which resulted in us having to rent a few Airbnb’s ($$$) as we didn’t feel comfortable staying in hotels due to Covid19 and most rv full hookup/pull through campsites were sold out due to it being so last minute. Not to mention we had to re route in St. Louis and drop the RV for repair and pay for yet another Airbnb.. at some point the generator stopped completely, which then stopped the air conditioning and the mini refrigerators we purchased so without a full hook up at that point we may as well been camping in a tent with a cooler. My husband also had to rig a charger under the steps to keep the 12volt batteries charged as the regulator is not working which cuts off the air conditioning when the batteries are not sufficiently charged.. I wouldn’t be doing anybody justice by not putting the truth out there. PLEASE don’t waste your time or money and get duped like we did, there are far too many options out there!!!
