Pickup was difficult as the host left a pickup location pin in an empty field across the highway from the actual pickup point. We were also charged $150 for a minor scuff that I don’t believe we even left. Make sure you take photos when you drop off the vehicle instead of selecting the “no damage to vehicle” option.

We don’t provide pins to our location, so this is an inaccurate review. The address is disclosed through the booking process, it is reiterated on your rental contract, and can be requested from us at any time. It’s a physical address and not a pin.

Overall, I would describe this experience as “OK.” The RV itself was fine, but Trailhead’s communication and business practices left a lot to be desired. Prospective renters should pay close attention to the number of add-on fees involved.

We are sorry that Andrew’s trip ended on a sour note. Just like a rental car our terms and conditions specify that if a renter misses their contracted return time they can incur a late charge. Not only does being late impact our operations team, it also impacts the next renter and it costs us money. Andrew did not complain about anything on his trip until he had a late charge. Many things in this review are inaccurate… This is not our pick up time and not our return time. The amount of his trip is inaccurate. This review is an attempt to retaliate and sneer our team.

This was our first time renting an RV. The team at Trailhead, specifically Aaron were tremendous. Communication prior to pick-up was perfect and our orientation led by Aaron was detailed enough but not overwhelming. We had zero issues with operating the RV or “hooking up” to utilities at each RV campsite. The vehicle was brand new and impeccably clean. They also provide you with a manual created for each RV with all the information you may need. There are also QR codes within the manual that connect you to a YouTube video on the topic in question. Clever and very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed this first-time experience and highly recommend Trailhead RV Rental in Aurora, CO

The RV was so noisy we could barely hear each other talk. The door rattled for 7 days. I reported it and asked why it was so loud and they said they didn't know if any door noise. Just take a ride down the freeway and you will hear it. Our whole vacation was hearing a door rattle the WHOLE gave us a headache. We were possible going to use the hitch but In order to possibly use it we had to pay 250 dollars. Rented the fire pit and paid 100 never used it since it was too hot outside and they wouldn't credit it back. The bunk beds were so dirty I wouldn't put my dog in there. The refrigerator smelled like straight up fish had to buy baking soda just to get the smell out. There was a worm on a fishing hook in the couch. The engine light came on and seemed like it needed an alignment. The side door to get out was so hard to open you had to have someone on the outside open it.

Trailhead RV Rentals was fantastic to work with and we had a wonderful time on our vacation. Everything was well communicated and in a timely manner. The RV was clean and as described on the website. Aaron was wonderful with the walk-through and was very thorough with everything. We had a few issues that are going to be addressed but nothing major to disrupt any of our trip. We will definitely rent from Trailhead again and highly recommend them for your next trip! Thank you!
