Communication was ok, however the booking went thru instantly and we found out later that he wasn't available until 5pm - be careful!
Great camper, not crazy consumption and confortable, it has all you need, however the owner forgets that you are paying for a service it is almost like he is doing you a favour.SOME ADVISES;
- Take pictures of the contracts as you sign then (he added the return time +30min after we returned it to charge us one more day)
- Be clear on pick up time BEFORE booking
- Make sure you write any damage, he is very picky when you return it, he will claim for anything.
- He expects you to have the van cleaned when you return it (he "recommends" a place around the corner that just charges £24...)
- If wing mirrors aren't fixed when you rent it, don't take it, they come loose and we almost lose them 2 times.
- BE very CAREFUL with pop up roof, previous customers made a small hole to the side and he charged them 5k to fully replace it (not repaired yet) we were lucky it was already broken as it is very simple to get it caught with the lateral hinges. This is a transporter converted not a California.
- Make sure you always communicate thru Outdoorsy so you can use it as a prove if he claims something that he shouldn't and it was previously agreed.

Great van and super flexible host. Took time out to explain all with van and changed his work arrangements to be able to meet us.
