The Scamp was very clean and easy to tow. We enjoyed our experience.

Our experience with Craig and his Scamp was excellent. My wife and I are new to RVing and we wanted to rent one to try it out. Craig was so helpful, clearly and slowly explaining everything we needed to know about the Scamp. The Scamp itself was perfect for our short trip to a TN State Park. Our dogs loved it too! Another benefit was we could tow the Scamp with our 4 cylinder Subaru Outback. My only complaint is the added fees charged by Outdoorsy, not the owner. That adds a significant amount to the cost.

Just an all around great experience

We camped for three nights at Bledsoe Creek State Park, northeast of Nashville. Had a wonderful time! The Scamp was awesome!! Couldn’t believe how comfortable the bed was. Don’t be like us, remember your bedding! Luckily Walmart was close by. It was wonderful to have AC and the fan was a lifesaver. Running water and the stove were much appreciated. We took great care of Craig’s Scamp and got our deposit back with no problems. Craig is super knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He even dropped the Scamp off and picked it up for us. Would absolutely rent it again!

Craig was wonderful to work with from the start. He responded quickly to questions and was helpful and upbeat! The Scamp was clean and well functioning. I would rent it again in a heartbeat!

FANTASTIC experience with Craig! The trailer is in pristine condition, because Craig takes such great care of it. He was helpful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We had the trailer for three weeks for a cross-country road trip, pulling it behind our Subaru Outback. It handled great. 10/10 would recommend renting!!

The Scamp was absolutely perfect! It was super clean and well stocked with necessities. Craig’s communication was excellent from the moment we reached out with interest in renting his Scamp. He helped us set everything up, gave a thorough tour of how to use the Scamp, and during our trip he was very responsive to questions we had.

We pulled the Scamp with our SUV and it was a breeze to tow. It’s so light! We visited 10 National Parks over the course of two weeks, and the Scamp was small enough that parking and getting around the National Parks was rarely a challenge. It was easy to cook in, it was comfortable to sleep in, and had just enough storage space for what we needed. And we took our 2 large dogs!

We definitely recommend the Scamp! Excellent experience!

Craig’s 2020 13’ Scamp camper was great - neat as a pin and a breeze to tow behind my Honda Ridgeline pickup. Honestly, you couldn’t even feel it was back there, as we drove from Nashville TN to Portland OR and back - 10 states and 5000 miles.

Craig was a real pleasure to work with. Friendly, informative, and very responsive to inquiries. You’re not going to find anyone better than Craig.

Overall great experience. The Scamp is a champ!

Craig and his Scamp were extraordinary. In AirBnB terms, he is a "super host." When we arrived our 4-flat break light wiring couldn't meet his 7-round (even with the adapter that I brought along). And Craig quite calmly took out his toolkit and we got to work. It was fixed shortly.

If you're taking this vacation to get away from Covid, Craig and his family were very respectful of distancing and mask-wearing. I can't thank him enough. To me, that's important stuff. And it's indicative of how clean a camper you will be receiving as well.

The Scamp itself was SO WELL EQUIPPED!!! Every little cabinet is thoughtfully stocked with something that will come in handy over a trip of several days. Converting between bed and table was easy-peasy. And Craig rented us a great bike rack that was easy to use as well. See pict.

If you're new to the Scamp or trailers, Craig's intro on hookups, fuses, etc was comprehensive and left everyone feeling good about the trip to come. Even if you know a lot, it's not a bad background…. Because on the trip you take, you'll have to answer a lot of questions about the Scamp. Other campers look at it with curiosity -- perhaps even envy. It's perfect. It has everything you need, and nothing no extra weight. We could leave it behind at the campground (we locked the wheels with a cable lock) and do some excursions in our Outback. And we could take it far and wide while still getting 20+ miles a gallon!

If we don't buy one ourselves, we'll be certain to rent from Craig again! Wait… maybe I shouldn't have written such a positive review!!?!? Oh well, race you to booking! :)

My husband, dog, and I took this little camper with us on a road trip up to the Poconos in eastern Pennsylvania. It was the perfect camper for such a trip! It pulls VERY easily and was a breeze to set up and take down. It's simplicity made it easy for us to pull over and have lunch in while on the road. Craig is communicative and readily available, thorough in walking us through how to operate the camper, and thoughtful in supplying the camper with the things we needed for a great trip. We highly recommend this little camper!

This was our first time to rent a camper and our first time using Outdoorsy. Craig made the entire process so wonderful from start to finish! He was quick to respond and answer any questions we had, and he was flexible with our drop off and pick up times.

The Scamp was exactly as pictured/described and was absolutely spotless! It is small, for sure, but that made it so simple for towing and setting up. It was exactly what we needed and for its size, the 13' Scamp packs a lot of punch! Our family of four fit great in it. It looks so cute and tiny on the outside, but my husband and I who are both close to 6' tall were able to stand up in the camper and we could also stretch out on the dinette bed. Our 11 and 13 year old boys (both over 5') were able to fit on the couch bunk bed and loved it! People from all over the campground wanted to come over and peek inside this unique camper.

Craig stocked the camper with several conveniences, such as pots, pans, and utensils to use on the 2 burner stove. He also included items such as trash bags, paper towels, cups, and paper plates/bowls, as well as hand soap and dish soap to use at the sink (which comes equipped with a hot water heater!) He even had two camping chairs included for us to use.

We are so glad we rented from Craig - he was fantastic to work with, and his camper was top-notch!! We don't have a single complaint about our experience! We would highly recommend checking out Craig's campers to anyone!!
