We have had RV's for forever. When I was about 6 my dad bought our first 13ft Cardinal trailer, it was so cool. He was tired of getting wet and cold when we went deer hunting or fishing. So begin our love of the outdoors. It had a 10 gallon fresh water, gravity fed tank. You had to stand on a ladder to fill the tank from the outside and the faucet came out inside into the 12 x 10 sink. It had a 3 burner stove, no oven and a ice box that you put a block of ice in. The most memorable part of this little trailer were the hammock beds that folded out to make two beds. If you slept in the first one and were not careful you smacked your head on the light. It was a heavy duty fixture it never broke. A lot has changed in 50 years. We have not had a trailer for a while and did some tent camping which is a lot of work and not the same as trailer or rv camping. So we bought a trailer this year so we could enjoy camping again. Our neighbor was renting their trailer and told us about Outdoorsy and thought that would be a great way to help others experience rv camping and help us start a small business.
