As first time travel trailer campers, Sharon and Ethan provided all the guidance we needed to have a safe and fun three days in Black Mountain, NC. Their 2003 19ft Bambi had all the cozy comforts of home and had enough room to prepare some "better than basic" meals in the galley. If you're in the Asheville-ish area and looking for a unique getaway, I highly recommend this rental. If you're concerned about the towing capabilities of your vehicle you may want to consider renting a truck (like we did) from the Enterprise truck rental in Asheville. We had soooo much fun!

Sharon & Ethan are very good hosts with their Bambi. My main reason for renting was to see if this Bambi was the right size/config for me and I decided it is not, but for no reason that this couple is responsible for! Good communication...very nice week.

Ethan and Sharon were amazing. We paid for a delivery and takeaway and that was amazing. They even left us with a bottle of champagne for our wedding weekend. The airstream itself wasn’t exactly what I had imagined. The door was extremely hard to open and close. I felt I was fighting with locking and and unlocking it every time. The shower was also unusable and some how was flooded with not being able to use it. They suggested I could trouble shoot it but I had no time with my wedding weekend to try and get it to work. I was pretty disappointed in that. Pretty expensive rental to not be able to use the shower. Airstream was much smaller than I thought. The bed really is just for one person.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We are so sorry that your experience was less than outstanding. As with most travel trailers, the door and hinges shift depending on the level of the Airstream which can cause it to open and close differently--we always show renters how to open and close the door, however it is a nuance that is best learned with repeated practice. The shower head is original to the 2003 Airstream and we have since replaced it with a brand new one. Upon picking up the Airstream, we did notice the flooding in the shower and saw that it was due to the grey tank being full and overflowing. This can happen when the Airstream is hooked up to campsite water without septic and we warn renters to keep an eye on the tank levels to avoid either tank from overflowing. After dumping the tanks, the water in the shower did drain successfully. As for the size, it is a 19' travel trailer and we do include a detailed floor plan in our listing photos. The bed is just shy of a full/double mattress size and provides a comfortable and elevated camping experience versus tent camping. Very comfortable and clean RV. My wife and I really appreciated the comfort and were very glad that when we did have questions on the RV at our site we got an answer very quickly from the owners. Sharon and Ethan are wonderful people and were extremely helpful in the pick up and drop off process as well. The only reason this is not a five star is that the gray tank was not completely empty when we picked up the unit and was not realized until we arrived at our destination. Other than that everything was as promised.

We camped with my family of four in Davidson River Campground in Brevard, NC. We have camped there for the last 20 years by tent and staying in Sharon and Ethan's Airstream was by far the best trip that we have had. The Airstream is classic and while it gives the comforts of home it also has a nostalgic feel. Ethan and Sharon were so easy to work with and went over everything at pick up. The trailer was outfitted well and with food and bikes we had a great 4 days. I highly recommend renting this great little trailer from Sharon and Ethan.

Wow what an amazing adventure we had with this awesome Bambi Airstream! Sharon and Ethan went above and beyond expectations. They made suggestions on various campsites, were easy to reach and accommodated our every need! The airstream was very well stocked with kitchen items, fresh sheets and linens and fun games! We cannot wait to rent this gem again!!

Couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The owners were not only extremely friendly but also prompt with communication & thorough with explaining everything on the pickup. The trailer was super clean and comfortable.
We camped out near Highlands, NC, and ventured at Black Rock Mountain. We were definitely the coolest at the RV park with this classic airstream. So many people stopped to compliment!
I enjoyed my experience so much that I am now in the market for an airstream and couldn't be more excited. Yet, while I wait for my own, I will always come to these two to rent.

What an easy way to have a great time during covid. Our Bambi was clean and well suited for the 2 of us. We moved every 2 days to different beautiful spots in SC. We camped in the mountains and a central lake and then to the beach. I would highly recommend.

We had as wonderful of a trip as possible renting this Airstream Bambi for our 14 day adventure. We drove it with my Toyota 4runner up the coast of California to Oregon and back to LA without any issue. We stopped at Mt. Shasta, the Redwoods, the Oregon coast, Hood River, Mt. Hood, Bend, Crater Lake, the Bay Area and ultimately back to LA - 2700 miles in total. Ethan was always a phone call or a text away whenever I needed a question answered. The refrigerator was cold, the hot water was hot. The bed was super comfortable; it really felt like home. I could spend an hour gushing in detail about how well everything worked in this trailer! All I can say is this is the trailer to book if you're looking for a hassle-free experience with a lighter-weight Airstream trailer.

My wife and I had an incredible experience with Juniper Canyon's Bambi. we met the owners at their house, pick up was super easy and we hauled it up to the Mammoth Lakes area NO PROBLEM with our Toyota Tundra. Camped for an entire week in complete style and luxury. Had multiple people stop us to compliment us on our cool trailer :-) we did bring a small generator to charge the battery half way through the trip. The hot showers, oven/stove and fridge/freezer were fantastic. The Awning kept the sun off us regularly. We are so glad we got to camp with this trailer. Will definitely do it again. 5 out of 5 stars.

We had the time of our lives while celebrating my Mom’s birthday over Thanksgiving in Joshua Tree. Our hosts set us up with a hitch and tow stabilizer, and we were off on our adventure. We will definitely book this Airstream again.
