Beautiful RV with all the amenities you could want. Owners were gracious and made it a special weekend. Highly recommend.

This RV owner failed to monitor their booking calendar. I eagerly booked the RV as it was available according to the calendar, only to have the owner immediately cancel my booking. My credit card was still charged $510 rental fee even though the RV was never available. It has taken more than week and the funds still haven't been returned to my credit card. Outdoorsy offered a misely $50 credit for this avoidable inconvenience? Had the credit card been declined, this would've terminated the transaction immediately. I still cannot understand why my credit card was even charged considering the RV was never available to be rented? Not a good first time experience. I encourage Outdoorsy to be more accountable as they should require RV owners to be more responsible for ensuring their RV is actually available before charging the customer and if it is not, the RV owner should pay a $100 penalty fee to cover the customer inconvenience and then Outdoorsy should pay an additional $100 penalty as well. The RV owners and Outdoorsy each should share a role in this process. In this case, how would the RV owner have even known my booking should be cancelled if the calendar indicated the RV was available to be rented? Poor management is no excuse. It's just something about the process of knowingly charging a person's credit card when you know for a fact the services or product you're offering is completely unavailable that is extremely concerning and then tying up their money until the transaction is eventually refunded. Outdoorsy needs to fix this immediately.
