Hi, I am Jonas Molloy

Aloha, I Love building custom campers here in Hawaii. Its a great place to boondock and drycamp because its legal to camp overnight at the ocean as long as your fishing!!! Hawaii is the only state in the USA that does not have an RV park. So its all about adventure.

Jonas was very kind, hospitable & always there offer advise help. We stayed in his property & had everything we needed, more we needed actually. The tikivan or a my son called it tikimobile gave us amazing memories. Jonas saved us a lot of time & money with his advise that tourists wouldn't know about. Thank you so much Jonas...Alllooooohhhhaaaa!!!!

We had an outstanding time on Big Island!

Flight got delayed a little and then it took quite some time to get through the COVID clearance but Jonas waited for as with pina coladas :-)

The van was stocked with everything we needed (and more...) and we appreciated a lot the availability of the fridge and solar panels.

We stayed few nights at his camp and it was perfect, especially the first night (we arrived very late) and the last one because Jonas drove us back to the airport.

Of course, one week is not enough to explore the Big Island but we made the most out of it :-)

We were coming to Hawaii for 2.5 days and had planned to camp on the island and this Tiki Van did the trick for us, quirks and all.

Things to note about the van: it is an older vehicle and has some quirks. The biggest of them all were the locks and handles. Jonas will go over it with you so don’t fret, you just have to make sure everything’s locked up before leaving. It is also pretty rough on ga…

We loved living in the tikki van :) Unique experience to travel the big island! The van is greatly equipped with solar panel, fridge, snorkeling gear, Kajaks and other gadgets. Jonas is very flexible and helpful not only on-site but also in the preparation (visa, free tour of Hilo, free campsite in his backyard, free laundry, pick-up and drop-off etc.).

If you like van camping - the tikki van is your choice!

Disadvantages: Sattle road island crossing is not permitted; incl. minimum insurance package we ended up paying 200$/day; high fuel consumption
