The owner was helpful and communicated in a timely manner.
However, we were unable to use the shower due to a seal leak that we would have thought to be checked out prior to our rental. This made the experience far from perfect.

DO NOT RENT THIS VEHICLE!! This vehicle is WAY past its prime! I will not try to explain all of the reasons I was disappointed and disgusted by this vehicle, but some of the most glaring issues were, 1) The vehicle was FILTHY! Outdoorsy's claim that their renters are required to follow "CDC guidelines before and after each rental to help prevent the spread of germs between travelers" is completely laughable! 2) Many features in the vehicle did not work due to a failed generator - entry stairs, refrigerator, microwave, etc - Nothing worked. 3) The vehicle was in general disrepair - the upholstery on ALL the seats was torn and peeling, the recliners either didn't work or didn't have a seatbelt. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that I had a horrible experience and Outdoorsy was very unresponsive and difficult to deal with.

I went through the RV with Mrs. Johan prior to departure on 5/16/20. She told me that she would be picking up her elderly mother in South Carolina and bringing her back to Florida but would not be staying in the RV during the trip. I asked Mrs. Johan if she would be using the generator, shore power, etc. and she said that she would not be. I also apologized for the seat peeling as we haven't had enough time to repair them between rental reservations, she didn't seem too concerned at the time. Everything was fine when she pulled out on Saturday morning. I told her to call me directly if she had any questions or concerns. I received a call 3 days later on Monday evening from Mr. Johan stating that the RV interior was dirty, the refrigerator wasn't on, and they couldn't get the overhead A/C unit to work. I believe they were first time RV renters so they were having some difficulties with operating the unit. I apologized for the RV interior being dirty and explained that the overhead A/C could only be used when the RV was on shore power or with the generator. There is nothing wrong with the generator and it works as it should. When the unit was returned, I noticed the interior power button had not been turned on, which is what controls the refrigerator. When they returned, they were not the friendly people that I had met on Saturday. I apologized multiple times, but that didn't seem sufficient to them. Again, I was there to help walk Mrs. Johan through things and told her to call with any questions. She never called so I assumed everything was fine. I spoke to Mrs. Johan on 5/26/20 and asked her if a partial refund was fair to her? She said that she would get with her husband and call me right back. I never heard back from her.

This RV rental experience was wonderful from prior to pickup through return. The RV drove great & was surprisingly efficient on fuel. Dallas was awesome with communication and he knows his stuff - he answered all our questions (and we had a lot!) promptly, graciously, honestly, understandably and completely, which resulted in us having a really great trip. 👍👍

I would recommend this motor coach to anyone wanting to travel in style. Its Mercedes diesel engine got 18 miles per gallon and had all the power needed to stay at 70 plus mph even while traveling uphill. There is plenty of room for two adults and two younger children. I however was traveling alone and it will definitely will use Elites services again in the future. For someone not accustomed to operating a truck or larger vehicle you will have no trouble operating this motor coach.

As a first-time renter and first-time RV'er, this was the perfect RV for us. Dallas was exceptionally helpful throughout the listing process, the RV was cozy and fun to drive, all the amenities were just wonderful. We tailgated on a completely dry-camping lot for a college football game and enjoyed the day immensely: heat, freshly cooked food, and TVs for watching the other college football games. What a great weekend! Would 100% recommend.

The RV was very clean and just as described. My wife and I had planned on using it to tailgate in Charlotte NC but instead decided to camp for the Labor Day weekend. Everything worked and I really enjoyed driving (17 mpg was a bonus). I would defiantly recommend this unit and Elite.

Dallas was beyond helpful and accommodating. Last minute rental cause ours broke down. Met us on Sunday even though they are not normally open. Great service and so nice and professional

Awesome RV for a first timer! My wife and I had such a great time with this RV in the Smokies. The RV is very easy to drive and close to the national park. I would definitely like to rent it again!

Dallas was great on communication. The RV developed a problem while we were traveling. He helped us work through the issue. The RV was clean, comfortable, and had ample supplies for cooking. I had never driven an RV before, and Dallas was thorough in teaching us the ropes. I quickly felt at ease on the interstate. We enjoyed our trip and would definitely take the Siesta on our next adventure!

We had a great first RV adventure renting Dallas’ Thor Siesta. It was a perfect size for our family of 4 with two small kids. The RV cruised really well on the interstate. We spent a week at several different South Carolina beach state parks and were comfortable the entire time. Dallas did a great job in his tutorial of the RV. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent the same RV again.
