We took Klaus on a 9 day road trip through Yellowstone and Grand Teton in late September, and couldn't have asked for a more ideal set up. The heating, power, lights, sink, fridge and stove all worked perfectly, and at no point was there any issue with us using too much power.
The night-time temperatures were chilly at about 30F (and one night we even got snow!) but Klaus stayed warm and toasty with a thermostat that we could adjust for our comfort.
Klaus gave us the best of both worlds by providing amenities found in most RV's, but also the stealth, drive-ability and parking of a van. Colin responded quickly to all our questions and concerns. We thought his rate was very reasonable - most other vans that offered similar benefits were listed at much higher prices. We would definitely use Klaus again!

Not sure if this is a review of Colin or Klaus...but either one is Grade A! Did a trip through Wyoming (Yellowstone, Tetons, Wind River Range) all with Klaus. Loved traveling with Klaus! Storage, cooking area, sitting area, bed plus Klaus ran well on the highways. Nice touches with the recessed lights that dim and all the nice wood finishes made it a pleasure to be in. What a trip! Klaus is the way to go! Highly recommended.

Perfection! Our trip through 3 National Parks was also our first time trying the van life and Klaus was the absolute best! This van is the perfect size to not feel cramped with 2 people, yet still small enough to maneuver in town and in parking lots. The ride was smooth and Klaus had plenty of power when cruising through the mountains. The chest fridge is more than large enough for 2 people for a week+ and the solar setup kept up great, even when using the house lights, music, and charging gadgets. Everything in the van was very simple to use, and Colin was great at explaining the ins and out of the setup prior to our trip. Colin's quick and detailed communication was one of the reasons we felt comfortable with Klaus over some other Outdoorsy options. The custom build is put together very well, the bed is super comfortable, and there is tons of storage space. We felt like we were leaving our home behind when we had to return Klaus at the end of our trip. We would not hesitate to rent from Colin again.

Klaus is quite an incredible camper van - the custom build done by Colin is incredible. We really enjoyed our weekend camping trip to the Uintas and had the best night sleep camping (most luxurious glamping) while our friends didn't sleep as well with the cold and mosquitos. Colin was very responsive and we didn't encounter any issues with the van. It'll be hard to go back to car camping in an Outback now that we've had a sneak peek of the camper van life

Wife and I took two dogs for a long weekend out into the wilderness in Utah/Idaho/Wyoming for some boondocking. Klaus was a champ.

We took Klaus all the way to Oregon for a bike race and couldn’t have asked for a better adventure van to do so! It drove really well and the way everything was organized suited our needs perfectly. We brought our dog along and Colin was so accommodating. The three of us traveled for two weeks comfortably, even more so we were sad to say goodbye to the van! The only down side for us was that there wasn’t a hitch for our bike rack, but the kitchen, solar shower, refrigerator and blackout blinds all made up for it!
