About GoCamp

GoCamp is a small, woman-led camper van rental company. We work with busy camper van owners who want to rent out their vehicles through a reputable business, but typically have a day job and not a lot of time to manage their listings. We are small by design; we curate the fleet, typically by invitation, and only include the very best vans and the nicest owners. You’ll work with GoCamp as you are deciding between various options and making plans, and once your trip is confirmed we’ll introduce you directly to the van’s owner. Everything you need is included in the base rental rate – bedding, kitchen and cookware, camp chairs, and more. Steve was awesome and easy to work with. Silver Star is in great condition, drives really well and all systems in excellent condition. Murphy bed and pop top bed very comfortable. Think I want to buy one!

Stella the van was great - clean, tidy, comfortable and ready to go; had everything we needed for a terrific few days in the mountains. The owner was friendly and responsive, and the pick-up/drop-off process was easy. Five stars!

El Capitan (2023!Mercedes Revel 4x4 Revel Winnebago) was great ! In one word it was just fantastic to be on the road with such a high quality luxury vehicle! The RV was equipped literally with everything you need. Headlights to walk around in the dark, coffeemaker, teamaker, but also nice luxury chairs to sit, gloves you name it. Thanks to our host James; you have done a great job supporting us with some of our questions whilst being on the road. Always prompt and to the point. In two weeks we did over 2000 miles, the vehicle is so dramatically different from the pick-up truck cruise america style of vehicles where everything shakes, rambles whilst driving. With El Capitan it is just solid, whether you go 60 or 80miles an hour.
So thank you James for being able creating this experience for us. We had a great vacation! I can only recommend James and this vehicle to you.

My experience with the owner was amazing. My experience with go camp and outdoorsy is 1 start. Awful communication and basically left me and my girlfriend abandoned on the side of the road with NO HELP!

Where to begin? How about the pick-up... The host gave us the wrong shuttle stop, so we had to carry our luggage 1/4 mile across the economy parking lot at SLC. Keep in mind they charged us an extra $100 for this "service." When we get to "Rex" the first thing we notice is the windshield with a crack across 80% of it. Illegal to drive in that condition, but what were we supposed to do? As advertised, the van was very well stocked. They even left the last guest's feces and urine for us to smell for 4 nights until we found a dump site! If you want heat, hot water, or the ability to cook, this might not be the van for you. Although the propane tank was 2/3 full, an apparent electrical issue with the exterior switch left us without those basics for 5 of the 7 nights. Instead of sending us a mobile repairman, Marcus just wished we had a voltage meter and suggested we wake up occasionally and crank the van for heat. I indeed had to do that at Bryce Canyon when the temperature outside was 20°.

We absolutely loved our 4 days of travel with STAN the van! Highway 1 was absolutely gorgeous and being able to stay in the van made it so easy. We stayed at multiple state parks along the way. STAN was super comfortable and had everything we needed for our getaway! Highly recommend and would definitely rent again! Thanks Ahn for the awesome communication and the helpful videos!

The owners set you up for success in their van. They provide ample supplies for kitchen, bath, bedroom, and outdoor fun. The week prior to the trip we were given links to videos and manuals to review--which we did. We were a party of two, set to explore the national parks in Utah, including a remote state park that would not have any ancillary hook-ups. Since the van was equipped with solar power, we were ready to explore without concern.Before we left the owner's driveway, we noted the refrigerator did not work. We pivoted to buying coolers and managing our food with routine ice purchases. On the afternoon of day two while traveling to a park, the first electrical alarm started to sound. We texted the owner once in cell service range. They were very responsive to every text. The alarm continued even after resetting the main electrical breakers. Unfortunately, the offered solutions did not fix the repeating alarms throughout the week. We noticed on night two the added purchase of wi-fi was out. The owner verified our steps to fix, but again there was no solution for the entire week. The solar power feature was never restored and our nights without hook-ups were frustrating as we could not use the solar powered features and no shore power available. When the owner texted we should "google" the problem, we knew we were at a point where no further assistance could be gained from them. The owners never apologized for our inconvenience and did not offer a refund for the wi-fi or any restitution for the features of the van which we counted on, did not have access to, and paid for.

If we could give these vans and their owner six stars, we would!Sue was very flexible and went out of her way to accommodate both drop-off and pick-up of the vans. The process for checking the vans in/out was easy, of very short duration, and also very informative and helpful. Sue provided not just the basic information needed, but also additional explanations regarding systems operation, including pointing out specific van-unique characteristics. Sue was great, and didn’t seem to mind when we texted her occasionally during the trip to let her know how much we were enjoying ourselves! We would rent either of these two vans again without hesitation. Thanks to Sue, Wander and Dreamer, we had a wonderful and amazing vacation.

If we could give these vans and their owner six stars, we would!We (two couples) rented two Revel vans (Dreamer and Wander) for a 2-week tour of national parks in the pacific Northwest (Grand Teton, Yellowstone and Glacier). When we received the vans, they were spotless and perfectly appointed. The owner, Sue, has incorporated many upgrades in these vans, and her care for the vehicles was very evident. The kitchens had everything we needed; we put it all to use as we primarily cooked and ate in the vans. Towels (bath AND beach!) and bed linens were clean and of good quality. The owner provided not just the necessities but also additional items (cleaning supplies, DEF fuel additive, etc.) such that we didn’t need to provide our own. The vans were in excellent condition and worked as expected.

Road tripped in the van to 3 of Utahs National Parks: Arches, Canyonlands, and Captiol Reef. Such an amazing time! The van was great. Very comfortable bed. Full of very useful amenities. Ron was very helpful. 10/10 trip!

We love Miles! He got us everywhere we wanted to go safely and without any hiccups. Easy to drive and maneuver. Mason went above and beyond showing us how everything worked, making sure everything we might need is available and responding to our questions promptly. He even provided a “how to” book which was oh so helpful! Highly recommend. Fabulous experience and a wonderful trip!!

Easy to coordinate. Love the airport drop off option (traveled with a 1 year old). Fairly easy to operate all the van functions and everything worked fine. Drove mainly on paved roads, but handled gravel and troublesome roads with no issue. All amenities were great, had everything we needed except for food! Thanks for being a great host, Fletcher! 10/10, would travel in this rig again.
