Just completed a six day rental of a Karma campervan. When we drove the van away from the pick up point in Calgary, it seemed fine. However, once we got to Canmore, the van was making a loud rubbing/grinding/groaning sound any time you turn either right or left. This caused us a great deal of concern (throughout the whole trip), as we weren't sure if it would get worse and cause us to break down. I went through all the emails sent to us by Karma and found the after hours toll-free number. When I spoke to the person at the other end, she said “just a minute, let me check the maintenance records”. It turns out this van had a known problem reported by the previous clients, complaining about the grinding noise turning either right or left. She said don’t worry, the mechanics said it is not a problem, probably the power steering pump, and to continue driving.

AMAZING !!! We had an incredible experience from the beginning to the end ! The woman who took care of us, Sara, was easy to contact, she made sure a couple of time that we had everything we needed ! The process to check in and out with the van is super easy. The van was clean and convinient, we had everything we needed. It was our first time travelling with a camper van and it absolutely made us fall in love with it. There will be a second and a third time soon ;)

This was an incredible rental! We were flying into Vancouver so weren't able to bring a lot with us but luckily this van had it all. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were nice and soft. The van was clean and well maintained which made pick up and drop off easy. We felt comfortable diving the van, it never felt too big or scary on the highways. The fans worked super well for ventilation and we never ran out of solar power. The one thing I wish the van had was levelling blocks for the uneven campgrounds we stayed at. We rented the van for three weeks and drove from Vancouver to LA and back, seeing all the major parks and cities in between. It was one of the most memorable times of our lives!

We loved the van thought it had everything except we would like to add that a kettle would be handy to have since there are outlet plugs in there! Other than that everything was fantastic!

Everything was top notch with Karma. Equipment was in good condition and the van was super easy to drive. Pick up and drop off was organized and stress free. Systems were simple for novice rver's and most importantly the bed was very comfy. Thanks

Such a great trip. Customer service was on point. I had a few questions during the trip and got responses so quickly. Great van with everything you need. Easy check-in process with a nice detailed tutorial video that explains everything about the van. We will defintely be booking with Karma again when we go back out West. Thanks for the great memories!

Amazing experience!! What a great way to explore beautiful BC. We did a 10 day road-trip from Vancouver to Calgary and travelling in a karma campervan allowed us to be super flexible and spontaneous in terms of where we wanted to go and camp every day, but with all the comforts we could ever hope for. Camping in BC is honestly the best - there are so many amazing off the beaten track (and affordable!) locations. Could not recommend Karma campervans more. We will be back!

This was our first experience with a Karma Camper, and it was so fabulous we can’t wait for the next time! We’d love to have our own one day, but in the meantime we will definitely be renting a Karma again in the future. Everything about the van was comfortable and convenient, the vehicle handled great and even had good fuel economy. This is the way to camp!

Dave (owner) is personable, forthright, visionary. Kerstin (contact) is helpful, knowledgeable, friendly. the camper van was ... exquisite! we rented for nine nights and drove from calgary to vancouver and back. really easy to drive and park (amazingly), exceedingly comfortable, and wonderfully roomy. the van superbly accommodated sleeping, playing our guitar and ukulele, reading, eating, chilling out. it was perfectly accessorized for the two of us; we appreciated the no-frills sensibility. we have only high praise for Karma Camper Vans.
