Some of my happiest childhood memories are of going camping with my family. We would hitch our little travel trailer up to our station wagon and off we would go...traveling as far south as Disney World and as far north as Canada. When I got married and had children I wanted to give them those same happy memories and we started out with our first little pop-up camper. We have since moved on to bigger hardsided campers, as our family has gotten bigger, but we all still love camping. Five years ago we decided we wanted to help other families experience the joy we find in camping. But not everyone wants to own a camper, just use it a couple of times and then have to store it. What to do? Well, now you can have the best of both worlds. A clean, well kept camper, outfitted with everything you need to go camping ( minus the linens), including comfortable beds, a full bathroom, a full kitchen, AIR Conditioning, and should you need it heat; but you don’t have to own it. You can rent it from us for the weekend, for the week, or for the month depending on what your needs are. We hope you’ll contact us and let us help you to make your camping memories come true!
A great trip. Mark was a great host and a Roxy was a great trailer!
I was a first time rv camper. Mark was very responsive to my inquiries when things went wrong during my trip. He helped me by phone or text to troubleshoot and resolve issues with the camper.
I rented Penny the Prolite based on pictures on the website, which i discovered are old. The camper was well used and pretty beat up inside and out. There were loose screws, at least one cabinet that didn't latch without some finagling, and the outlet for the tv/dvd player did not work. There was no awning as shown in picture, but they did provide a screen tent. I did not try setting that up by myself. The camper was dirty when i picked it up. I had to clean it before using it. I would say it's time to either retire Penny or completely renovate her.
Owner was flexible with pick up and drop off. Camper was clean and functional.
Mark was awesome to work with. Excellent communication, super flexible (had to reschedule trip due to family emergency). The camper was perfect and everything worked as it should.
Pick up and drop off were very easy and Mark was responsive and maintained great communication. We’ve been testing out different campers and we found Roxy the Retro to be just a little too small. There was little storage space and the bed was slightly smaller than a regular full, so it was definitely “cozy” sleeping.
Mark’s trailer was awesome. Had everything we needed and he was even nice enough to let us use his hitch. The unit is perfect for 4 people, the awning was clutch because we caught some heavy rain at the end and were able to stay completely dry under it. Would totally rent this again.
Mark and his family were great to rent from. He was quick to respond to questions and concerns and pick and drop off were super easy. His son did a very thorough job of explaining all we needed to know about the trailer and was able to answer our questions, as well as offer tips and suggestions before we took off. The trailer itself, was an older, well loved model in generally good shape. It was well stocked with the basics and had a full propane tank. We found it to be surface clean, although some smaller items needed to be washed again before using (ex. plates had been stacked away wet). There was a small leak via the air conditioner during Hurricane Ida, but Penny kept us quite dry otherwise.
Great first time RV-ing experience. Mark was great with communication and walking us through things we had questions about. Delivery and set up were wonderful!
Great time. We were both Flexible to make the trip happen at the last minute. Mark was easy to communicate with. The camper was maintained well, and any questions or concerns we had as new campers he was able to help us with. I will try to add a few pictures soon too.
Mark was flexible and helpful with our last minute rental. The camper was well maintained, and he was able to go over everything with us as first time renters and was able to be reached while on vacation.
Everything about our trip was perfect! Mark was easy to contact and was on time for pick up and drop off (he was very accommodating with the times too). He was great at explaining everything and had all the gear that we needed. He even gave some great driving advice (it was my first time towing a camper). The camper was very comfortable for my family of 5. I look forward to renting from Maryland Trailer Rental again.
For the 1st time ever towing a travel trailer 700 miles each way, it went very well with only one minor breakdown that outdoorsy handled very easily. Mark was great and very easy to deal with and very knowledgeable
First timer who followed youtube advice to camp one night outside my house to get a feel for it. And then spent a night at a local RV park. Was great to be able to tow this lite trailer with my van. Mark was responsive, hepful, on-time, etc.
