Great rental. Ryan was great. But small for two people but we made it work. Truck drives amazing. Would rent again.

Truck and service were great! Nic met me at the airport to save time picking up, truck was solid on the trip (except for one minor warning light popping up) and easy drop off. Would rent from these folks again!

We had an incredible trip and can’t thank the guys at Northirn enough. Start to finish, an incredibly professional operation. Can’t wait for our next trip.

What a fantastic two weeks... What a fantastic truck!
What we liked: The fridge/fridge light, that magnificent battery that never went below 50% charge, the side unit with all kitchen accessories, the IKamper was like a palace for two people, the firepit was a must given the bans on campfires and the evening chill, the ability to drop the truck back without cleaning it.
What could be considered for future adventurers: Much more cold prep, bedding was a bit insufficient for the temperatures encountered, a hard food container to store food in the back (mouse proof), sensitization on vector control and a mousetrap.
But none of that outshone the wonder of our experience with ´Tundy´ in the Canadian outback and the morning views we woke up to. Big thanks to Nic and Ryan for all their support and for such a super trip plan.... !

Ryan was very accommodating with all my questions prior to booking and when we arrived. We needed a 4WD camper for our trip on Vancouver Island and across to Bella Coola and then on to Jasper and Banff. The hardtop scout camper had everything you needed for two people and it was roomy enough for the couple of nights of rain we had. Thanks for Pur great camping holiday!

Northirn Overland are great guys who will expertly advise you on what to do and how to do it. If you want to get a feel for Canada and not just "tick it off" it's hard to imagine a better option for travelling there. The car was well prepared. Thanks Northrim, that thanks to you the smell of the forest was closer to us during this trip. :))

The truck was perfect for our family 4 day camping trip. It is very easy to drive and set up, extremely well equipped and comfortable. Ryan was so friendly and always available to answer questions. I definitely recommend renting this RV and would consider renting again in the future. Awesome service and experience. Thank you!

Perfect car. Great advice throughout: from planning the trip months in advance to live “I need to change plan where should I camp” chat advice during the week. Thanks very much for all the help.

Perfect truck for our Harrison Lake to Cariboo-Chilcotin Backcountry Trip. It got everything we needed. Ryan is the perfect host. I will definitely rent again.

After scratching our heads we could only really suggest to just keep an eye on the little kitchen bits. The can opener didn't work The chopping knives were really blunt. The bbq lighter was empty. Add a simple toaster that sits on the jetboil. We felt that we weren't lacking anything though, and really enjoy simple uncluttered camping. We never did get the battery charged over 60% after camping in one spot for four nights, but the fridge stays cold for a long time and we never had to throw food away.
A sturdy folding stool so shorter people can succesfuly fold and unfold the roof tent! Maybe two 15 litre water containers. We had one. A branded reusable water bottle full of cold water for each guest would be a nice touch, especially after a long haul flight, but only if you're sure it's not going to become instant landfill.
We really enjoyed our roadtrip. The Tacoma purred along. The rooftop tent is very high quality. It was fantastic to be met at the airport by Ryan, and then have Nick meet us in Vancouver at the end.
We never made it to the Chilcotins because of wildfire smoke, so might just have to return another year.
