The van was reliable, clean, comfortable and ready for pick up as planned for our week long vacation camping in Joshua Tree NP and Anza Borrego Desert CA SP. The staff and owners of this great business are all excellent, upbeat, and accommodating communicators. We highly recommend San Diego Camper vans!

We had a great trip and the van was perfect for our needs. Wonderful to be able to camp without having to set up and take down a tent every day. Good communication with Anthony when we were scheduling the trip, as well as when we picked up and returned the van.

I can’t say enough great things about my experience with this company! My friend and I had never done anything like this before but will defintely do it again. Dealing with the company overall was a breeze. Anthony was very helpful and communicative in the initial booking and leading up to the rental. We were very lucky to have Breanne at the office to help us with information from their upcoming app on where to park the van for the night. Lacey gave us a very thorough demonstration on how to use different appliances included in the van, as well as some equiptment that we added on, like the easy to use portable shower and toilet, which was a great thing to have!

Overall great experience. Service was top notch and quick- were were in and out for both drop off and pick up. The van was amazing overall and perfect for our trip. There were a few minor problems with the heater that couldn't be fixed on the trip but SD camper vans adjusted our final bill which was appreciated. Looking forward to rent again!

These guys thought of everything you would need on a trip in a camper van. Travelled to Joshua tree and felt at home in our mini RV, shout out to Harley who was super friendly and helpful. Great vehicles, great service would do it again.

Rented the bigger Ford with convertible table to bed, AMAZING! Took my girlfriend and two dogs from San Diego to Big Sur and back. Van worked perfectly the entire time. Plenty of room for all of our stuff (tonssss of food as we eat a lot), ourselves and our dogs to drive and live comfortable. 4 days was a bit short for a long trip, would definitely be happy to roadtrip and live in this van for weeks!

My husband and I rented the 2018 Ram Promaster and loved it. It's the perfect size for 2 people. It's easy to drive, the bed is comfortable, and we could easily fit 2 road bikes in the large storage area below the bed. We would definitely recommend San Diego Campervans.

I'm very satisfied. The booking was very uncomplicated and easy. The car is enough if you love the simplicity. Technically, the car is in good condition. the camping equipment could be a bit better.
I drove 1700 miles, saw a lot and enjoyed the vastness of the desert, I'm driving the Gran Canyon and much more.
I can recommend the company. very good for a small budget
