Bear Lake is approximately ¼ mile from campground, and the Tributaries of Cuchara River runs through campground. The Indian Creek Trail #1300 Trailhead is located on the north side of campground. This campground and adjacent picnic area complex is located alongside the fast-moving Rock Creek in a stand of mature Aspen trees. There are 10 sites of which 7 are dead end spurs and 3 are pull throughs. Length of sites varies from 20 to 40 feet.
