The Lake Gogebic Campground is located within a state park that shares that same name. It sits on Lake Gogebic, which is situated in the west-central portion of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The campground is found around 40 miles east of the state border with Wisconsin, and around 30 miles south of the southern shore of one of the largest of the Great Lakes, Lake Superior.
