About this RV

In response to COVID-19 we will have a minimum three day gap between guests to allow thorough cleaning in accordance with health department guidance. National Parks are still open and exercise does support the immune system, so this may be a great opportunity to quarantine in the great outdoors!

Enjoy your vacation in this agile rig that drives like a car. Discounted weekly and monthly rates provide the opportunity to enjoy a high end RV for a fraction of the cost.

This Mercedes diesel drives like a car and you can easily zip in and out of gas stations and grocery store parking lots. At an average of 15 mile per gallon (that figure comes from our own experience, not a manual), you can save money on gas while hitting those far off destinations.

This 24 foot rig is small and nimble, yet it has a deceptively large living area once the 2 slide outs are deployed. It’s the perfect size for two adults who want to camp in comfort. Enjoy the open air of the National Parks whose camping spots are often limited to smaller vehicles. In fact, why not ditch the designated camping spots all together and go off the grid in the National Forest?

No fees for add ons.

It’s perfect for 2 adults or it is comfortable for 2 adults / 2 children. There are four seat belts - two up front and two on the couch. It has a queen size bed and a sofa that turns into an inflatable double bed. There are 3 solar panels on the roof so having fully charged batteries is never a problem

We want to be sure that there are no surprises, so expect to see a Gross Receipts Tax and a Service Fee when making the final reservation. The State of New Mexico requires a Gross Receipts Tax of 7.875%. The Service Fee is set and controlled by Outdoorsy and can range between 10% - 20% of the rental cost. Also, please review Outdoorsy's insurance policy and make sure you know the deductible that you would be responsible for in case of an insurance claim.

If you have any questions, feel free to send us a message!

October 2019

We rented this RV for 30 days to take a trip across New Mexico. The pickup process was very smooth and well organized - probably due to the owners being retired Navy (thank you for your service!) and having checklists at hand.

The RV was clean, in perfect working condition. We had no issues during the entire 30 day / 1600 mile trip.

The return process was as well organized as the pick-up process.

I have no reservations in recommending this RV to you for your trip!

We had a stellar experience. The check in is incredibly thorough and the instruction book, more so. Shasta was awesome and treated us really well even though we were really late (the climbing was super good!). Would love to do the trip again... next time for a couple weeks!!

August 2019

This was my first time renting an RV and Jeff and his wife, Shasta, made it all go so easily I would quickly rent again from them for travel in the Southwest/Rockies. Jeff kept me informed from the very first contact and coordinated the scheduled pickup and detailed overview of all parts of the RV before I took control. The RV was exceptionally clean and fully supplied with kitchen items, all towe…

Jeff is a great person and his RV is awesome! We had a great 1st experience on our 1st RV trip with the kiddos. We used it on 2 of our nights with no hook ups and it was great. We could have pulled over at any random spot to camp and would have everything we need with the generator, propane tank, and solar. Gas mileage is great and the RV runs very smooth and handled the Colorado mountains with ea…
