Geoffrey is very helpful and responds promptly to messages. The bus is a 1996 model, and so comes with the expected quirks of a vehicle its age, but it ran like a champ the roughly 4000 miles we put it through over 9 days. Sleeping three adults is tight but manageable, and cruising is a comfortable. Couldn't imagine having taken this trip in anything else. There might be better equipped rigs of this size out there, but none with the style or character.

We had an absolutely amazing Labor Day weekend with Otto. Everything was seriously so perfect. Otto is cozy and an amazing workhorse of a skoolie. We headed into the mountains for the first day then headed to the beach for the next two days. Everything we needed for boondocking Otto has. Geoffrey was great to work with and was always in contact if we needed anything. We will totally be renting Otto again. 😊

Jeff was absolutely lovely, and very communicative about absolutely everything (really great dude), but the bus had a lot of issues. Water didn’t work, AC wasn’t even close to being sufficient, cabinets not properly secured (things were flying open as we drove, including the fridge). Turning on the ignition is a two person job, the wheel itself is very loose, so the bus can sway, the door locked us out because it got jammed multiple times...and to top it all off, our brakes began smoking on our final trek downhill (which was terrifying). Anyways, the trip was ultimately hilarious and quite the experience (it was also on the hottest day of the year, so perfect storm!), but the bus itself was the biggest stressor, and we just wish we’d known what we were getting into. Hate writing negative reviews on these things, especially because, once again, Jeff was really awesome. But felt like we had to be honest. Anyways, definitely an adventure! And thanks again to Jeff for being so helpful.

Not very happy with the situation. I had booked the bus in advance and was very happy with everything. A day before my trip Geoffrey cancelled due to “damages” on the bus yet the bus was still listed on here after he cancelled. It is a very frustrating situation when you had plans and had reserved parking spots yet it gets cancelled the day before. I had even recommended this bus to a couple of friends but I will not be doing that anymore. Not very happy with outdoorsy either.

This bus is AMAZING! Such a cool experience driving a school bus around. Geoffrey has done an incredible job with the interior remodeling. The rental comes with everything you could possibly need - stove, fridge, AC, bed, etc. It was perfect for a weekend trip up the PCH. Hope to rent again soon!
