My wife and I are lifelong Alaskans and we love going on adventures exploring this incredible and vast state. We find joy in showing others the wonders Alaska has to offer. We run a RV rental business, an AirBnB, and work full time, so we definitely stay busy! Growing up in Alaska allows me to pass on my wealth of information to others so they can get a better experience from my trial and errors.
Imagine sitting next to a warm crackling fire parked next to one of Alaska's 3 million lakes taking in the vast beauty that this wonderful state has to offer. My wife and I are lifelong Alaskans and are always seeking the outdoors that is nearly limitless just out our front door. Two lifetimes of exploration allows us to bring to the table a distilled amount of advise and suggestions we give all our guests to ensure an amazing vacation. From provided coffee, to the option to rent a canoe, stand up paddle board, or bicycles, we have everything you need to make your Alaskan experience not just great, but incredible.
No driving on unimproved, remote roads without prior approval. This includes the Denali Highway, the Haul Road, the road to Manley, McCarthy, etc.
Standard fee for all renters. Covers basic exterior and interior cleaning and full detail of the vehicle. This is after a renter brings it back in a relatively picked up condition. Things such as trash picked up and dishes cleaned should be accomplished by the renter.
Regardless of self scheduling options through outdoorsy, vehicle checkout is after 4 pm on pickup day, and must be returned by 11am on dropoff day.
This is for the rental of two bicycles. I have four bicycles to choose from, on a first come first served basis. I have two standard mountain bicycles, one fat tire bicycle, and one tandem bicycle. the tandem counts as two bicycles. Notify me at time of booking which bike you want to reserve them. Comes with dual bicycle rack.
This fee will apply when the vehicle is exceptionally dirty either inside, or out. I charge what my cleaner charges me, which is $35 per half hour. Additionally, if you are more that 30 minutes late to the drop off point, you will be charged at this rate.
I have two mountain bikes available to be rented. Charge is per bicycle per day. notify me that you want these at the time of booking to reserve them.

Erik has thought of everything you will need in an off-grid experience. From the curtains to the inverter, Sub1 was perfectly outfitted. The bed was comfortable as well. Pick up was easy and the suburban drives great. We would definitely do this again.
Absolutely loved this set up! Wonderful for seeing Alaska, fully stocked with anything we needed, and Erik gave us great recommendations for camping spots!

Erik’s suburban had everything we needed! He explained everything we needed to know with detailed instructions on EVERYTHING. The car was very clean and you can tell Erik takes great pride in his products! We had everything we needed for cooking. Bedding and towels were included. We paid extra for the shower, which was nice to have. Erik had so many wonderful suggestions on where to camp and hike for our vacation!! This is the best way to see and explore Alaska! We loved every bit of it and were very impressed with Erik’s organization, quick responses, detailed information, and flexibility. Our schedule changed at the end of our trip and he was very understanding and accommodating! 10/10 recommend!! :)
