We have a very good time with the Sammy for our 7-day AK trip. The Sammy (van) ran very good and easy to handle. There’s a big space in the van and very useful for the rainy day. The small rechargeable power station is very helpful camping time. The host provides the basic kitchen supplies are enough for camping. The host Lu Lu is very nice and easy to communicate with. We will not forget this AK trip. We do like to recommend this Sammy to our friends for AK camping.

Wonderful experience, Lu Lu was communicative, provided everything and more than we needed for a 10 day road trip through the Kenai Peninsula with our two kiddos. The bed was extremely comfortable and the van was flawless. We will definitely be renting from Lu Lu again, if you’re on the fence just book it, you won’t have any regrets.

We arrive with just carry on luggage and found Sammy equipped with everything we needed for camping- chairs, stove, dishes, pots etc. There was a cooler and even a nifty battery pack (with solar!) fir charging our devices. It was unexpectedly cold (50-60) and rainy but we were warm and dry thanks to the comfy bed including great pillows and comforter. Lulu was awesome to work with and gas mileage was better than expected (diesel is still pricey though). There was plenty of room for the 2 of us and our luggage, but my husband had never driven a van and had no problems. Easy to park especially with all the pull throughs available. We loved it and highly recommend Sammy and Lulu!
