Fantastic. Lu Lu provided a safe, reliable van for me. It was ready for pickup and Lu Lu was there for drop off. Van was in wonderful condition. This was a great experience, I will use Outdoorsy again.

Our experience with Lu Lu and her Sprinter was excellent. We had everything we needed for 5 days of 100% van life on the road, the bed was super comfortable, everything was clean and spacious, and communication was 100% at all levels. This was our first rental and van experience and it was great!

10 Days traveling—this van was the best decision for an on-the-go adventure for a mom & daughter trip with a spur of the moment itinerary. We had everything we needed at all times, spending most nights sleeping in the van at local campsites or farms. The van drives so easily and the back up camera helps tremendously with blind spots and a not so helpful passenger Princess ;)
Bluetooth capability on-screen navigation, comfy bedding & mattress and privacy curtains gave us the security and comfort we needed while on the road. Plenty of floor space too since we slid all our suitcases and backpacks under the bed frame. I did pack battery-operated tent lights to hang around the interior at night, which I highly recommend packing. Would love to use this van again on our next Alaskan adventure :)

Both the RV and Lu Lu were absolutely great. The car took us from A to B without a problem and had all the gear we needed for a few days up north. The car drives really well and there is enough height for tall people to stand up. The the isolation of sound and temperature were great and made it easy to sleep. The hosts were super kind and responsive, would totally rent again from them!! Thanks for having us :)

We have a very good time with the Sammy for our 7-day AK trip. The Sammy (van) ran very good and easy to handle. There’s a big space in the van and very useful for the rainy day. The small rechargeable power station is very helpful camping time. The host provides the basic kitchen supplies are enough for camping. The host Lu Lu is very nice and easy to communicate with. We will not forget this AK trip. We do like to recommend this Sammy to our friends for AK camping.

Wonderful experience, Lu Lu was communicative, provided everything and more than we needed for a 10 day road trip through the Kenai Peninsula with our two kiddos. The bed was extremely comfortable and the van was flawless. We will definitely be renting from Lu Lu again, if you’re on the fence just book it, you won’t have any regrets.

We arrive with just carry on luggage and found Sammy equipped with everything we needed for camping- chairs, stove, dishes, pots etc. There was a cooler and even a nifty battery pack (with solar!) fir charging our devices. It was unexpectedly cold (50-60) and rainy but we were warm and dry thanks to the comfy bed including great pillows and comforter. Lulu was awesome to work with and gas mileage was better than expected (diesel is still pricey though). There was plenty of room for the 2 of us and our luggage, but my husband had never driven a van and had no problems. Easy to park especially with all the pull throughs available. We loved it and highly recommend Sammy and Lulu!

The van was great! Lulu was great to rent from, easy communication, and lots of extra camping supplies were provided for us. We were warm and cozy in the van and able to see the beauty of the state in our hotel on wheels!

Lu Lu was great to work with, Sammy the Van was just what we needed since we have our own camping gear - a plain van with carpeted walls (that work with Velcro for hanging things like glasses and flashlights) and a king sized sleeping platform that was VERY comfy. LOTS of headroom - us 6 footers didn't have to stoop at all. Drives and handles easily, and takes diesel fuel while getting very good milage. Bluetooth connection let us listen to music even while out of radio range. Lu Lu also offered up camping gear if needed any at no extra charge.

Lulu's van was just what we needed to travel comfortably in Alaska! It's big enough to sleep in and store our stuff, but still easy to maneuver and park. She is so friendly and accommodating, and very responsive with messages and questions. The bed is comfortable, the van is supplied with all the necessities, and its fun to drive!

The van gets great gas mileage. We slept very comfortably. Lulu had an extra mattress with a comforter and pillows (not shown in her photo of the interior). The van was very spacious and came with many extra amenities not mentioned in the listing. The van had much more to offer than expected. We will would love to rent this van again!
