Dean was incredibly easy to work with. He provided everything we needed to make the trip a complete success. The roof top tent was surprisingly comfortable. The Element was just the right size, making the travel very nimble and economical. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and we would definitely seek out Dean for our next Alaskan adventure.

We are a couple staying in the E-Camper for 10 nights and we loved it!
Pros:
- E-Camper set up in 3 seconds (compared to 15 mins tent set up we used to do) and it’s really warm and cozy inside, shielding us from strong cold winds and rain at night
- The car is in perfect size, easy find parking spot at popular trailheads. I’ve seen many RVs having difficult time maneuvering for parking and thankful we chose this car.
- This may sound shallow but the car was born to be photographed with any Alaskan view.
Cons:
- the only thing I can think of is inside the E-Camper is a bit small for 2 ppl to move around freely but after a few nights we figured out a way to do things in there
Overall so impressed with this car. Dean was also a perfect communicator and kindly picked us up at the hotel and dropped us off at the airport.

Wonderful and minimalist camping car! The host provided all essentials that we needed.
When ready to set camp, we would just get inside the car (and get the mosquitoes out), pop up the tent from inside and climb up to a cozy and properly light-blocked sleep.

We truly enjoyed our trip in Alaska while renting Dean's Ecamper! The pick up and drop off was flawless and they went above and beyond to make sure it went smoothly. Not only does he allow more mileage than most this thing gets excellent fuel mileage. Setup and take down is extremely simple and we slept 3 very comfortably.

The Honda Element E camper is very compact, yet it gave us freedom to be very maneuverable and flexible on our trip. Very cozy for four people, yet we positively like it.

This Honda element made our Alaskan dreams come true! It got us around to where we needed to go and was our cozy shelter for several nights. It was just what we needed. We had an amazing time! Dean was so helpful and provided everything we needed to camp in the Element. It was a breeze - we were able to fly into Anchorage with only backpacks!! With 3 adults, it was comfortable and there was enough space for all of our gear and clothing. Highly recommend Dean and the Element for your next Alaska adventure - we hope to go back and do it again!

We spent 5 days traveling to both Denali and the Kenai Fjords National Parks. We were a family of 4 with small children and the E Camper worked great for transportation as well as a camping vehicle on our trip. Dean provides the essentials and this whole setup at a very reasonable price here in Alaska!

Everything worked out perfectly with the Honda Element and with Dean! He was more than helpful all through the process, replying immediately to all our questions and going the extra mile to have the Element ready for 3 people. The Element was easy to drive and very convenient for a flexible road trip. We loved the experience and we loved Alaska :)

Great rental experience! The Honda is roomy, clean and comfortable. The Ecamper pop top is easy to use and provides a cozy sleeping space. Dean met us at our hotel, showed us how to use the poptop and provided all the extras needed to camp (stove, bags, etc.)

Dean's info describes the experience driving and camping with the ECamper perfectly: the van is maneuverable like a car, it is in a very good condition (we were even the first ones renting it with the ECamper conversion!) and well maintained, has AWD, a descent fuel consumption of 20-25 mpg and sleeping in the roof flip-up tent is just wonderful - especially when you've parked the car with the back facing towards a nice landscape/scenery.
We've been asked a few times what kind of upgrade that is, or what a nice camper van it is etc. So, you also point out from the masses of all the 25 ft+ RVs.
We used the car as the perfect blend of a regular rental car to drive around in cities and a camper to sleep underneath the stars.
Last but not least Dean supported us from before booking until return of the vehicle. He picked us up from our hotel and took us back and supplied us with what we needed for our 5-days trip around Glenn Highway and Kenai Peninsula. He was always just a message away and replied to our requests almost instantaneously.

The Element was my home for two weeks and Dean made sure it was comfortable. He provided sleeping pads, sleeping bags, and pillows. And Dean was pleasant as well, he even picked us up to get us the Element and would've dropped me off at the airport but our schedules just conflicted. The whole experience was very easy. Thank you!
