Excellent way to explore Alaska. Truck is well equipped with the little extras - stove, pots, camp chairs ... even bear spray - that make adventures go smoothly. Rooftop tent is super comfortable for sleeping, and it is very easy to set up and close down. Sonny was very flexible around pickup and return, and communicated clearly and promptly throughout the whole process.

The camper was great! Sonny was very responsive and the camper had all we needed for our trip. The truck is like new, clean and easy to drive. The Alucab is a great setup and very comfortable. The poptop opens and closes easily and it's surprisingly roomy inside when you flip up the bed. Came with table, chairs, cookstove, heater, and kitchen stuff. Includes an electric fridge( no ice!) too. One note; we always pack our clothes in those zippered packs(shirts, socks, etc.) when traveling and that worked great with the truck - the storage is under the seats in the truck bed and those travel packs fit neatly inside.

Sonny was great to work with! The Alu-Cab initially seemed a bit small, especially with the prediction of rain all week, but with time we came to really appreciate the rig and the ability to quickly setup and breakdown. Very efficient and had pretty much everything we needed for a great trip.

Coordinating this rental with Sonny was easy. He was very accommodating, helpful and made himself available with any questions I had. This was a surprise road trip and camping adventure with my Wife. We were very pleased with the rig, she felt comfortable and safe. Set up was fast and easy and Sonny provided plenty of amenities that made it one of the best camping trips we’ve done. The size of the rig made it easy to explore town and move on to a campsite and enjoy Alaska.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
This vehicle is extremely easy to drive and operate. Setting up the Camper from start to finish takes about 30 seconds till the bed is ready. Closing up shop takes about the same amount of time.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
The electric is already setup. The you have an 100Ah that runs all the camper electrical devices. Dont worry about draining the battery and not being able to start the truck. Its set up so that cannot happen. Also if your house battery dies then just start the truck up and allow the alternator to recharge the house battery!
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

We are flexible and able to work with most renters, as long as we have ample notice.
