Opal is a 2006 Subaru Forester, geared up for your next adventure!
Opal features a 3-person, Tepui Autana car top tent and the supplies you need to get your adventure started.
The tent is easy to set up and we will provide you with a quick video tutorial to help, as well as further, helpful instructions in our rental binder. The total stationary weight limit for the car top tent is 500 pounds. Additional limitations/restrictions will be detailed in our rental binder. If you have any questions or concerns about the roof top tent, please reach out!
We will have Opal fully fueled for you on your arrival. We do ask that it is returned with a full tank. If the rental is not returned with a full tank, we will charge the cost of fuel plus a $25 fueling fee.
Pick up as early as 2pm on first day of rental. Drop off is by noon the final day of the rental.
Gravel/dirt roads are ok, acknowledging that they do come with risk of damage to the vehicle which will be paid by the renter. No off-roading allowed (including river beds, glacier beds, beaches, etc.). The Dalton Highway and the road to McCarthy are also off limits.
We do ask that all camping supplies are returned at the end of the rental in reasonable condition. If items are missing or damaged the cost of these items may be deducted from the security deposit.

It was very good. Easy to set up and take down. Elizabeth and Jordan were great to work with and had the car all ready for us with everything we might need. The sleeping bags kept us nice and warm, the pillows were painful… 😀. Camp pillows are not my favorites. Other then that, it was great.
