Visiting almost any part of Arizona can provide the outdoor enthusiast with plenty to do, see, and enjoy, and when you book an RV in Sierra Vista, you can’t go wrong. There is rich history throughout this region and some amazing sites to behold. Sierra Vista is situated just a couple miles north of the Mexican border and southeast of Tucson.

Sierra Vista is located in Cochise County, named for the Native American chief and warrior who led an uprising against the US government in 1861 that lasted until a peace treaty was signed in 1872. The long enduring history of this region started thousands upon thousands of years ago with Paleo-Indians. More recently, Sierra Vista was incorporated in 1956. It sits just south of Coronado National Forest, along the border of San Rafael State Natural Area, and not too far away from Saguaro National Park.

Carr Canyon is a little bit different in that it doesn’t offer the same kind of difficulty for beginners as Brown’s Canyon does. It’s still worth the stop when you rent an RV in the area.
