Hey all! We are mountain lovers and try to get up to the peace and quiet as often as possible. We tend to boondock and run off propane and 2 12V batteries, but we also go for campgrounds here and there. We are a family of 4; Myself (Ryan), My Wife (Mel), and our two children (Grace & Jack). We did a lot of tent camping originally, but with the kids, we got to the point where we thought it would be better to have a bathroom and real mattresses to sleep on (Mel was pregnant at the time of purchase). She's a trooper with the tent camping, but the luxuries of camper camping (glamping) sure can't be missed. We hope you enjoy the camper as much as we do!

Boondocker will be rentable through High Alpine Rentals located in Colorado Springs starting April 7th, 2020. Please feel free to check them out and rent Boondocker for your next family adventure!
Very modern pop-up with a nice dinette seating area. Has a 3 burner stove inside. 19K BTU furnace to keep you warm in the chilly mountain night. 100W Solar Panel on top to recharge the batteries on sunny days if you're boondocking. If you're plugged in, heated mattresses are an additional bonus for warmth. Small sink for washing dishes and hands inside. There is an exterior shower for rinsing off after getting dirty or washing dishes. There is a grill and table that can be attached to the exterior for cooking and prepping dinner outside. The awning is full length of the trailer and lit up by beautiful LED lights. The queen and king beds are surprisingly comfy! We rarely use the couch or table conversion for our little family of four, but sitting on them is comfy as well! I bet sleeping isn't too shabby either.
Set-up takes about an hour to an hour and a half. Tear down will take an hour or more as well if this is your first time with a pop-up.
Don't worry, the roof is lifted with a motor, so no back breaking. Same with the tongue jack!
There is a binder with detailed laminated instructions on how to setup and tear down the unit inside the passenger rear exterior storage compartment.
We do allow pets, but we ask that we avoid pets over 50 lbs. it’s not a big unit and bigger animals can cause more significant damage. No pets, no matter the size are allowed on the furniture.

"Boondocker" 2020 POP-UP W/ Bathroom & Boondocking Setup

Have a question?Get answers directly from the owner

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Flexibility is pending on how my day job is going. Please reach out with questions on when you're thinking and I am certain we can work something out that works for both of us. I typically like two days notice to prep the unit, but depending on what's going on, sometimes i can get it ready sooner.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Definitely. You will want to review the laminated setup/tear down binder instructions included with the unit. I can also send them to you via email so that you can review in advance.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
The water supply and electric are a piece of cake. Plug them in and you're good to go. The waste is an onboard container that is specially designed for this toilet. The container only holds 2-3 gallons of waste, so be conservative. As it starts to fill up, you will want to remove it (following the instructions in the manual) and take it to a bathroom and dump it down the toilet. Gray water can be disposed of on the ground in most locations. Gray water consists of soap & water, not much else.

Q.How does boondocking work with this unit?
A.
Boondocking is when you're dispersed camping, not at a campground (or at a campground w/ no water or power). If you are planning to boondock, I ask that you let me know. I will recommend that you purchase the double propane tank add on and I will provide the unit with a full tank of water. There is a 100W solar panel on the unit. There is a lot more to this question that can be answered in more depth via email or a phone call. Please reach out with any specific questions regarding boondocking!
