Shawn is great to work with and very helpful in getting the trailer hooked up. Includes all the basics needed for cooking and sleeping.

We were SUPER excited to take our FIRST RV trip ever! We recently adopted a puppy so we thought it would be better for her to travel by land.
I cannot express how DEEPLY disappointed we were when the RV lost electrical power and most of the equipment did not function, including the AC! This happened the first evening of our trip! Shawn was very apologetic and did the best he could to diagnosis the situation, however, the ONLY RV mechanic in the area we travelled to was shutdown due to the pandemic so we were stuck. We ended up cutting our trip short (by 3 days!) and headed home.
We are EXTREMELY disappointed in Outdoorsy.com because even after Shawn spoke to them and told them we should receive at least 50% of our money back (because it was not at all our fault for the problem), Outdoorsy argued with him that “we took the chance and rented from him so it was our fault”. This is unacceptable! We lost our entire trip! We were not able to go on a pontoon boat we had rented, or paddle boards we rented or even just go to the lake because were stuck trying to trouble-shoot the electrical problem! Shawn eventually convinced them to refund 50%, however, we have yet to receive that credit. I will be waiting patiently for it.
Will NOT be renting from Outdoorsy EVER again!

The rental from Shawn was flawless, we really enjoyed out trip and the Hideout provided all of our needs. Shawn was very flexible with us and we very much appreciated that. He takes the time to go through all the details at pick-up. Would highly recommend renting from him.

Shawn was easy yo communicate with. He responded to all my texts. When I picks up the camper he explained the camper functions with me. I had 5 adults with me and we fit in the camper with ease. Shawn had extra pots, pans and cooking utensils with the camper, plus had planets and sheet if we needed them.

We pulled this trailer to Fairplay (~90 miles) and it was very easy to pull with our GMC 2500 truck. The trailer was practically brand new (our trip was the 5th trip in this RV) and in perfect working condition. Heater worked great at night, beds were comfortable, very roomy with the slide out (we had 4 adults, 1 child and 1 baby with playpen).
