When picking up the Rv, the gentleman showing us around, explained how to worked well. But the Rv was not clean inside, dirty in the sink and bathroom plus it smelled from the previous people who used the rv and they didn’t put a solution down the toilet to help with the smell until we said something when entering. We had a good trip, up until we got a flat tire last 24hr of having the Rv. In their RV CHECKLIST booklet I was given it says to call our contact to trailhead rv and that they would help or provide us with a technician if they couldn’t help over the phone. We received no help when getting a flat tire, then was accused of potentially abandoning it when I was reaching out for help. They said it all because of the app I rented then through but they clearly didn’t care to help me even tho it was their vehicle. They are very unprofessional when dropping off the RV after paying $800 to tow it back to the drop off location. They stated it was very inconvenient for them, they wouldn’t even give me help with a company to call. We took great care of that RV, but once reviving the flat tire and no assistance from them I was only able to get it towed back to the drop off location. I would have cleaned out the tanks as well but riding on a flat with a “Good luck” from someone on their team seem like it would do more damage then good.

Great experience start to finish. I was wondering if they were gonna come back and nit-pic stuff to whittle away at my deposit, but nope - smooth as silk and will rent again.

Do not rent with them, they are unprofessional and they lie about servicing their rv’s prior to you picking them up. they charged me large amounts of money for issues that were not my fault, majority of the features inside of the rv did not work and the owner refuses to do business outside of text message, he also refuses to meet his clients

Trailhead ’s answer

Alexys, was the 2nd renter in a brand new RV purchased the same month of her trip. Everything in the coach worked for the duration of her trip and worked when she returned it. She mislead us about how she was going to use the RV, booking it for 1350 miles and then driving over 3600. At the conclusion she returned it with damage down the side she didn’t report that required body work, full waste tanks, empty propane tanks among other issues. When she was charged for the miles, propane and damage she became angry and hostile. All of these issues were documented with photos before and after the trip. We answered every question that she asked no matter which communication channel she choose. She interacted in person, over the phone, text message and email with the owners themselves. At no point was she ever charged for anything she was not responsible for in the standard contract. Our team always treats everyone with integrity and professionalism. This review is an attempt to mislead people. We are very sorry that Alexys is not satisfied with her experience and have conveyed this to her several times.
