our host was terrific. We were trying out to see if aa teardrop camper would fit out needs. The camper itself was great but a little too small for us. Getting in and out was difficult since we are somewhat physically challenged. The design of the camper was great and I would recommend it for somewhat younger and physically agile.

Gene was fantastic, as was the camper. It was our first time trying a tear drop camper and we'd definitely rent Red again. Gene provided a full overview of the of everything prior to leaving so we felt ready and prepared for our journey. We unexpectedly had a small mishap with the camper and when we phoned Gene to let him know, he was beyond kind and understanding. Our experience with Gene and the camper was A+.

Awesome little trailer! Tv/dvd player came in handy during the rain :-). We would definitely rent again! Set and delivery to Devils Lake State park was a bonus when you don’t have a hitch!

I loved Gene's teardrop "Red". It came fully furnished with four place settings, griddle, cutting board, dish soap, hot pad, clicker for stove, DVD's for the TV, a few games and books, and the most comfortable mattress in a trailer that I have ever slept on. My neighbors had to check out the trailer along with other campers in Peninsula State Park. I would not hesitate to rent this trailer again.

It was an awesome time! Gene explained how to hook up and unhook and all the features you need to know. Communication was great.
The camper traveled excellent and had no problems. The mattress was comfortable, TV and some DVD’s he had inside came in handy when it was raining. All the comforts of home. I will probably see you again this fall “Red”.
Thank you Gene. It was a wonderful experience.

Little Guy was lots of fun, easy to tow with a Subaru Outback, and came in impeccable condition. Was in spotless condition. Renting the extra tent attachment made for great entryway as well as storage for our personal gear and changing room. Gene was very helpful in providing instructions so we highly recommend.

So fun! It was so nice to be in an elevated warm and comfy bed while the rain was pouring down outside. Easy to tow with just a hatchback subaru. Gene, the owner / host was amazing. Very helpful, clear, and flexible.

Thank you Gene for a great experience! We had a great hand-off at the beginning of the trip and and at the end. Gene thought of everything for Red. It made our roadtrip to Glacier perfect. Had a thunderstorm while in the Badlands and Red kept us warm and dry. Went on to Mt. Rushmore, Wall Drug, Yellowstone Nat'l Park, Glacier Nat'l Park and Theodore Roosevelt Nat'l Park! Easy to tow and added to our adventure!!

We had a great time exploring the western part of Wisconsin. We picked up our "Teardrop for the Week" from Gene, who was delightful. He was very accommodating and explained the ins and outs of the camper in very plain and great detail. The Teardrop was wonderful, clean and just a great experience. Thank you and kudos to Gene!

"Red" is a sporty, cozy camper that kept us warm throughout a mid-November Wisconsin night. Gene was very helpful and friendly, responding to questions before and during our rental. We look forward to renting Red again in 2021!

Highly recommend renting from Gene! Trailer was comfortable, well appointed, including helpful extras like TP and hand sanitizer. Very clean, slept great, and enjoyed the mini kitchen complete with Propane stove and fridge!! Never camped with electricity before, what a luxury! Little Red made our first time trailer camping experience fantastic.

This was our first RV rental and it was very enjoyable! Gene was super responsive, answering all my questions quickly. 'Red', as he calls it, pulled easily on our way up to Door County's Peninsula State Park for a 3 night stay in early September.We liked having the kitchen outside as the hinged lid covered you and had a build it light too. We used the burners plus an electric griddle that we plugged into the kitchen outlet. It was nice to move our food in coolers to the built in fridge/freezer. One rainy night we did play one of the DVDs that he had in RV. Easy to sit up in the bed to watch it. Really liked the inside shades, which could be totally closed one way and more a clear shade the other way.Trailer Hitch and Height. I had a 2" ball hitch which fit, plus a 1 7/8" ball. May want to list that, but you still should discuss your specific combination with Gene directly. The ONE thing that I didn't think of was hitch height. My hitch was fairly low to the ground to tow my utility trailer 'level'. I needed it 3-4" higher to tow Little Red horizontally. Although I had the tools and hitches to modify this, Gene was kind enough to swap out his own hitch so we could quickly get on our way! Very nice of him.

I would definitely rent this trailer from Gene again. It’s a great little trailer to bounce around and camp with. We camped at two locations. Devils lake in Castlerock area and had a easy time with the trailer. The kitchen area was great to have and the inside was perfect. The side tent was definitely needed for quick changes. Gene answer me every time I ask a question or need it to confirm our appointment. It was my first time with a small trailer like this and I would definitely rent it again if I don’t buy one.

This little RV was so cute and perfect for our camping weekend! We had it delivered to devils lake campground and it kept us cozy during a particularly chilly night. Gene was great and got everything set up and ready! Everything was pristine and came fully stocked with pots and pans, water for hand washing, and gas for the little two burner. The tv and dvd worked on the battery and were a lifesaver for our 3 year old who could watch frozen (who can go a whole weekend without it?!?). Overall so worth it!!

The T@G trailer we rented was everything we expected Gene was great to work with. He made the process as simple as possible and helped resolve some confusion I was having with Outdoorsy's insurance charge. His trailer was extremely clean and in perfect working condition. If you're considering the purchase of a teardrop type trailer, renting one of Gene's two T@G's first will give you a fun and painless opportunity to try one out.
