If you’re new, Welcome to the Flanagan Family Camper. We purchased our camper after we fell in love with camping at Fish Creek, NY and Assateague State and Federal Parks. We love making memories with family and friends.

We had a very good experience with Faith. Good value for the price, free delivery to Assateague, new generator and no issues as noted in previous posts. It was our first time in a camper and would rent again.

We were very happy with the RV ! The remodel was done very well with much attention to detail. Communication was spot on with Ryan and meeting him, his wife and family was wonderful and fun during the set up of the RV. We highly recommend!!

Ryan’s answer

Thank you for choosing us! We are glad you enjoyed your stay. See you next year!

Everything was delivered as promised. The kitchen amenities were well organized. The decor was super cute. Ryan was extremely responsive with any questions we had about the A/C.

Ryan’s answer

Best renters of the season. Easy to talk too. They left the rv cleaner then when we dropped it off. We hope rent again to Patty.

July 20203

We rented the RV along with the generator package for three nights. After running the AC on the generator for a few hours it completely stopped working. We checked the generator, added gas, and it was still running oddly. When we went to pull the start pulley, it completely came out. We were charged for the generator and Ryan was insistent that we broke it, even though it was working prior to it shutting off. He stated the pulley mechanism was broken along with the wiring. Bottom line is, we have no guarantee that we actually caused it to break yet we were charged. If the wiring was already going bad (the oil light was on and the generator was running noisily prior to it shutting off), it had nothing to do with us. It was not a brand new generator. While his communication was quick, it was also condescending. He stated that he was also taking a loss since he was being charged 3% through Outdoorsy and he was not going to worry about the "additional $19 and the hours spent trying to repair the generator." He ended up buying a new one and refunded our generator cost.

Ryan’s answer

Maggie and her family were very nice. They were on time for drop off and left the Rv very clean. They choose to rent our generator. We are not a Rv rental company. We rent our Rv out to help afford the payments on our cozy camper.

Ryan was easy to work with and was able to accommodate us on such short notice. Communication was great and he responded quickly with any questions we had. The camper was as pictured and very clean inside. It met all our needs and expectations. Would definitely rent from again.

Ryan’s answer

The Cooper family ask for the camper with only a few days notice. We worked together to make their weekend trip possible. They left the camper super clean and took care of our baby. We loved working with them and would to rent to them again.

Ryan was fantastic to work with throughout the entire process. He had to cancel my booking because of coronavirus (the campground closed). He was quick to respond to all messages. I would definitely book again.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Our Travel Trailer is for delivery only but the delivery times are somewhat flexible. We like meeting our guest but you do not need to be there for drop off or pick up. We can do a brief video chat (FaceTime or Zoom) just to review how the travel trailer works. We are always available by text or phone. Please take into account the check in and check out times at your destination. Most local parks have a 2pm check in time and a 11am check out time.

Q.How does the Travel Trailer’s power system work at Assateague State Park or Assateague Federal Park?
A.
At both locations, most sites do not have electric service. Without being plugged in to 30 amp service, the RV’s major systems will not work. The stove will work from the supplied propane tanks but the outlets, A/C, refrigerator, microwave will not work.

Q.How do you power the RV at Assateague State Park or Assateague Federal Park?
A.
Because the parks are worth the stay, we can provide a solar panel. The panel will power the refrigerator and the lights though your stay. If you need your cell phone or other electrics powered, we can supply a small generator with the ethanol free gas it requires. The generator will power the A/C and most of the other RV systems. The microwave will not work without being plugged into 30 amp service.

Q.How long will the five gallons of ethanol free gas power the RV for?
A.
There is no specific time. It depends on how much electrical loud is on generator and the how long that loud is on the generator. I have found if I have the A/C on and two cell phones charging for two hours a day, the generator (with 5 gallons of gas) will last four days.
