We enjoyed three nights in a large Wandervan in eastern Idaho. My 6’3” husband and 7 year old daughter and I all slept well, enjoyed the cozy interior, and warm and dry space. Easy to drive, well equipped and comfortable. I would recommend taking time to pack the van as suggested by Wandervan so maximize space. It was cramped with our large cooler, and too many bags, but that could be remedied with more savvy packing! Would definitely rent again!

GREAT experience-the van made it easy and the customer service was great. I appreciate being able to pick it up the night before--had lots of neighbors stop by and I have two friends (Eckerts and Goodsons) who now have rented after hearing how great of an experience I had BEFORE the trip! Only feedback I have is that we couldn't get the heater to work for more than two hours (there was nothing in the very informative manual about the timing feature of the heater.) VERY happy with our experience and look forward to renting again! THANK YOU!!

Absolutely loved the space and versatility of the van. The reading lights and phone chargers in the back along with the shelves, pockets, etc, we all amazing details......and the overnight heating was great when the temperature dropped. Highly recommended

We had a little trouble because of a blow fuse, but heck, this van was fantastic. We brought warm sleeping bags, so, we had a heck of a good time at Yosemite Nat'l Park....the fuel economy was great and this vehicle was easy to drive, and maneuver.

My wife and I rented the Large van for a week long road trip through Utah & Western Colorado. We had a great time and we are already talking about another trip. I had not driven such a large vehicle before, but it ended up being a piece of cake. The van captain chairs were comfortable and the van had plenty of power on the highway. The best thing about the van is being able to stop and camp anywhere and any time. Next time we would get the next smaller van. The Large was way more than two people needed. The fridge worked great, but we still needed a cooler mainly for drinks and always nice to have ice. We opted for the toilet, which we didn't use much, but it gave us the freedom to camp anywhere for the night, which we did a few times. The vans are huge, but don't over pack like we did :)

Overall, extremely pleased with the rental. A few things keep me from giving a full 5/5, but I'll explain those later. As far as the rental goes, we had a family camping outing that wouldn't have been possible without this van due to having a 1 year old and a 3 year old that don't do well in a tent, and the convenience of having all our stuff with us while we were out and about was incredible. My wife is adamant that we buy our own camper van now :)Feedback:
1) I saw some Velcro on the back windows that made it seem like a cover was able to be attached, but there was nothing in the van to actually put there. Fortunately, we had a blanket that we were able to hang from the top bunk to cover the rear windows otherwise changing clothes in the van would've been a no-go.
2) All the USB chargers in the back are nice, but I found that if a provided USB fan was on and I plugged my phone into the other side of the splitter, the fan would shut off. It seems like only 1 thing can be powered despite having the split USB cables? It was a bit confusing. Also, the charge rate of those USB cords was extremely low, almost to the point of not being able to charge my phone faster than the battery drained.
3) This is probably my mistake, but I was under the impression that the large van I rented had a diesel heater included. It didn't, which wouldn't normally be a problem, except the alternate propane heater ALSO wasn't included. We spent a couple of cold nights (with a cranky 1-year old) before we found out a family member happened to have a spare propane heater for us to use. It'd be nice if it was more clear which vans had a diesel heater and to ensure the ones without have the propane heater inside. It gets cold up in the mountains at night :)
4) The bench in the back shifted while we were driving enough to sit on top of the cord for the fridge, and cut it so wire was exposed. Van #5. I put some duct tape over it because it's all I had, but someone may want to do a better job of correcting that. Electrical tape, or maybe a new power cord.
5) The phone mount on the windshield lost the little screw that holds it together somehow while we were driving. I couldn't find the screw anywhere so I'm thinking it may have rolled forward into a vent hole or something. I placed the phone mount into the driver door storage space.
6) The website stated that all seats on the 2nd row have child anchors, so we got the 2-seater back there, but only one of the two seats had actual dedicated child seat anchors. Had to get creative to anchor both child seats in.

We took our five year old on a road trip for her birthday and it was a great experience! She loved the top bunk and all the van add - ons, like the reading lights and opening the back doors to look out at the beautiful lake! We slept soundly and had a wonderful family getaway! August and Debra were so helpful and accommodating! We will definitely be renting a WanderVan again for our next outdoor escape!

I highly recommend checking out Wandervans, they made the check-in check-out seamless. The vans are well equipped and cruise well at freeway speeds. Beds are comfortable and it makes camping, pulling over for lunch or a nap a pleasure.

We had a great experience with the Wandervan. The things I can see improvement on may be nit picking. We choose to have a port-a-potty, it wasn’t fully cleaned out from the previous renter. I had to wash and clean out. The fridge had been turned off and closed. As with any fridge it had a strong smell because of this. We added baking soda over night to eliminate the smell. The 12volt connectors to the fridge were loose causing the fridge to lose power
constantly. These are all minor thing. Could of happened because of a last minute change in vans beacause of the first van not having power for a trailer.

We LOVED this experience and choice for travel! My husband and I, our four kids, Grandma and our nanny traveled from Boise to Sun Valley and Jackson Hole and this gave us plenty of space for all our passengers and luggage including ski stuff. Better even... it was less expensive then renting a large van or two smaller SUV's from other rental companies. Very easy to book and work with! Would recommend this company every time!

My girlfriends and I had an absolute blast traveling around in the “sawtooth”! It was spacious, comfortable, easy to drive, and gave us the peace of mind that our belongings were safe and locked up while we went out for our daily adventures. Great van layout! Slept two very easily with one being 6 6in. Refrigerator was a definite bonus that saved us ice usage for a 4 day trip to Owyhee river. A plus!
