What an inconsiderate person! after you do the reservation and pay for everything he tells you that the RV has a broken window(this does not show on the pictures in outdoorsy.com) and he tries to convince you to take it anyways and when he does not succeeds on the sale then he cancels the contract, no apologies for my wasted time and better deals that I could had gotten and now are gone...I hope I don't have any problems with the charges to my credit card...what a horrible experience, I hope outdoorsy do something about this.
Mr Martin...has printed several untruths here. First off the broken window occurred the day before Mr. Martin was to pick up the RV. The renter before him hit a tree and broke the window out as he was returning the RV to me. I did not try to talk him into taking the RV with a broken window...the window is 3' X 5' in length and was completely broken out with glass all over . Yes i did cancel his reservation.....so as he would get 100% of his reservation costs back. Bottom line he was very upset that i cancelled his reservation...even after i told him what had happened.

Overall, I don’t regret renting Steve’s RV. This was our first time and didn’t know what to expect. Steve was extremely helpful and informative. He seemed like a genuinely good guy. I’d rent from him in the future.
T-e-r-r-b-l-e!!! We booked this trip for 5/29, but Steve decided to cancel our trip today 5/27... two days before pick up! His excuse was that he had allowed his insurance to lapsed? What kind of business are you running here? I spent the good part of my afternoon trying to find another RV. Anddddd get this, I later find the same listing from Steve as being available for the same exact date. Makes you wonder. Steer clear of Steve. You’ll thank me later.
Real easy guy to work with. Open and honest.
Overall the rv is great for the price. Expect to pay an extra 150+ don’t even bother cleaning it because he will look for any spot to charge the “cleaning fee’s.” Other than that I had an issue because I was 21 I asked if it would be okay before booking and he said yes 21 is Good no problem with insurance. The night before I text him to make sure everything is good and he let’s me no I need to call outdoorsy because there is a problem they told me I need to provide my insurance or the owner needs to provide their own. I then told them he aid everything was good and they said to fix it with the owner. I called the owner he said it is what it is and that unless someone 25 or older could pick it up or I could get my own insurance he wouldn’t do it through his. I was livid and ready to cancel but there are fees and you only get a certain portion back. We had already taken time off work and now had now rv the night before our departure date and my money and deposit was on hold. He said he understood and he cancel it on his end if I couldn’t figure it out. Finally after scrambling for rv’s and someone who could help use pick it up over 25 he calls us the morning of pick up and tells us “since you were respectful just pay extra and I will insure you on my end.” The stress and miscommunication was annoying but understandable. The RV was great our trip was good it was comfy and cozy but when we dropped it off he looked around and said okay everything is good. He said if we brought it back clean he wouldn’t charge anything and also if we brought it back with a full tank. We were rushing on the return day to wash it and clean it to leave it spotless we filled the tank. After saying everything is good at drop off and inspecting the whole vehicle he texted me hours later saying he would charged 120+ from my deposit and was a bit rude when I asked why he said everything was good and what he was talking about. There was literally 3 wet spots. At the end of the day i’m not mad over having to pay what was extra but it would have been nice to just now in advance instead of being given the run around. Other than that it was a good RV trip and first time experience.
