While all of our vehicles are very capable of handling some rugged terrain, due to their general setup kitted out with camping and cooking equipment as well as other overlanding supplies, they are NOT suited for moderate to extreme terrain. TO PROTECT OUR CUSTOMERS, OUR VEHICLES, AND OUR BUSINESS, PLEASE DO NOT GO OFF-ROADING, EXTREME FOUR-WHEELING AND ROCK-CRAWLING! OUR INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER THESE ACTIVITIES.
For our purposes at Gears of Travel, we consider off-road to mean any areas (including roads) that are closed to public, as well as natural terrain beyond roadways. All paved, unsealed/unsurfaced, dirt, forest and country roads are completely within limits for travel as long as they are public roads.

We booked the GoT rig for our tour of the Kootenay Mountains. The vehicle was more than capable for the trails we explored. The camper was outfitted with everything we needed. Bedding kept us quite warm for temperatures as low as 2°C. Thank you GoT we look forward to booking with you again in 2024!

If you do hesitate for the rental of this truck stop right now and book it !! It makes our trip more then perfect. Everything you might need is in that truck for a perfect camping in the rockies. The owner are really frendly, quick to answer our questions. Everything in the truck is well kept and well think. Worth the price, might book it again for sure.
