If you want to take advantage of all the Bay Area has to offer, rent an RV in Daly City. Daly City, California is beautifully located on the western side of the San Francisco peninsula, immediately south of the city of San Francisco. It is named for businessman and landowner John Donald Daly and was incorporated on March 22, 1911. Daly City has endured many earthquakes and subsequent fires since its inception due to its location near the San Andreas Fault, but is a strong and vibrant community nonetheless.

Known as the “Gateway to the Peninsula,” Daly City is a coastal community that’s bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the west. Like much of the Bay Area, Daly City’s climate is frequently foggy and cool in the summer and wet but mild in the winters, making it the perfect place to book an RV in San Mateo County.
