The Great Outdoors

The monument offers a spectacle of diverse land and breathtaking panoramas. Thirty miles of the Pacific Crest Trail snakes through the park. There are also lands allotted for public use that offer opportunities for camping, hiking, backpacking, horse riding, rock climbing, hunting, fishing, stargazing and more.

If you want to stay a little closer to town with the Fontana rental motorhome but still want to have an adventure, check out Yucaipa Regional Park. Exploring the City

Fontana has a lot to offer visitors, from a rough and rugged past to present day marvels and attractions. The city is the birthplace of the infamous Hells Angels Motorcycle Club founded by the Bishop family in 1948. There’s plenty of rumbling engines and racing wheels in the city today.

Visitors from around the globe come to catch the races at the NASCAR Auto Club Speedway. Vehicles are a big deal in Fontana; each year, throughout spring and summer, the Fontana Car Show is held one Friday each month. The sleekest, most distinguished and wildest cars in the area rally for exhibits and car enthusiasts. There’s excellent food to be had, too, especially authentic South American cuisine. In fact, it is said the best pupusas north of El Salvador are served here. The dish is a traditional one of corn tortillas stuffed with seasoned pork, cheese and refried beans. If you’re looking for dinner and a show, head over to the Center Stage Theater. They’ll wine and dine you while putting on a Broadway musical or cabaret show.
