With 75 miles of hiking trails and a 19-mile mountain biking loop, there's plenty of land to explore during a visit there. Check out the self-guided nature trails and marvel at the massive redwoods you can find around the park. You can also try your hand at camping, fishing, and visiting multiple historical and cultural sites while you're here.If you’d rather make your way north, it won’t be long before you come across Del Norte Coast Redwoods State Park near Crescent City. Try camping out along the coastline next to some of the largest trees in the world. The 1,200-mile-long Coastal Trail gives you an excellent chance to see some majestic scenery, whether you are hiking or mountain biking. Delve into nature with interpretive exhibits, or dive beneath the surface with some snorkeling. Swapping fishing and windsurfing on the beach for treks through the enchanting woods is easy at this diverse park.Another area that shouldn’t be missed is Six Rivers National Forest, which would be pretty hard considering it covers over a million acres of land. Named for the six rivers that run through it, here you can head down over 1,500 miles of streams if you are interested in some kayaking or canoeing. That also opens up the options for plenty of fishing opportunities with campgrounds around the forest and hiking trails too. You can also try areas for horseback riding, scenic drives, and tubing to make the most of that California weather.

Then you can check out the End of Trail Museum for some cultural and historical insights. You might also want to head up the coast to Crescent City to check out Ocean World, an expansive aquarium where you can see just about every underwater creature imaginable. You can enjoy a guided tour where you can see and feel all sorts of aquatic wildlife. Questions about RVs?

Q.

What type of RV should I choose?

A.

Start by determining how many people are planning to travel with you. Going on a solo-journey? Choose a camper van or a teardrop trailer. Bringing the whole family along for the ride? Consider a spacious Class A or five-wheel.

You’ll also want to consider amenities. For example, if you’re planning to cook on the road, you’ll want a kitchenette. If your campground doesn’t have public restrooms, you’ll want to search RVs with bathrooms. Check out full descriptions of our models to help you decide here.

Q.

Do the RVs have bathrooms?

A.

Yes. Class A’s, Class B’s, and Class C’s and five-Wheels typically have bathrooms. Depending on where you plan on camping, you’ll want to double-check the availability of restrooms if selecting a rig without a bathroom. Nervous about renting an RV with a bathroom? Owners can help show you how to clean the tank or will offer to do it for you for a fee.

Q.

How does check-in work?

A.

Once an Owner approves your RV reservation, you can coordinate a time to pick up your rig or have it delivered to your doorstep or campsite. At that point, the owner will do a key exchange with you and walk you through the RV and answer any questions you might have.
