Individuals and groups of two to seven people do not need an appointment. Groups of eight or more should call or email to make a reservation. Guests on one of the tours often receive special prices on the wine. This location is also a great place for a picnic in a peaceful setting. Guests can bring a group to the Diablo Gazebo with a bottle of Hannah Nicole Wine and their picnic foods. The staff at the winery is ready to help plan special events such as weddings or birthday parties in their beautiful facilities.
The Orwood Resort in Brentwood, California is an outstanding spot for some time away from the noise and activity of ordinary life. The resort has been run by the same family for more than 50 years, and they take pride in the excellence of their facilities. The staff at the resort claim to have the best water skiing and wake boarding venue in the area. The resort is a mere 60 miles from San Francisco. The entire family can relax and enjoy the time for the campground has an excellent safety record. The climate is superb with mostly sunny days for many different activities. The RV sites include both hookups and non-hookups. There is a general store on the premises that caters to the needs of the campers. Boaters will be pleased with the three lane boat launch on waterway where water skiing is great fun. An excellent restaurant and bar at the resort serves a home cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Riverpoint Landing Marina & Resort in Stockton, California is a great place to vacation. This is a fine resort for an overnight stay or as a headquarters for an extended stay in the fabulous Delta. The park has 32 sites in a comfortable setting with great amenities. Most of the sites are along the Stockton Deepwater Channel. The sites have excellent views of the activity on this waterway. People are fishing and water skiing in usually fine weather. Residents will also see the freighters traveling from the local port to the ocean. Magnificent sunsets over Mt. Diablo are often a treat for the residents of the park. All of the sites have water and 30 or 50 amp electricity. The dump station is available to empty holding tanks. Showers, ice facilities, and the laundry room are conveniently located. Weekday stays are a specialty of the park. Campers will be happy with easy access to Interstate 5, the downtown waterfront, and the University of the Pacific.
RVs under 24-feet, and trailers under 21-feet can be accommodated at the Casswell Memorial State Park, as can tents. This lovely site gives visitors an opportunity to enjoy being outdoors, and to participate in a range of activities. These include fishing, river swimming, geocaching, hiking and cycling. There are hiking and cycling trails to explore, and, if you are keen on watching wildlife, there are opportunities for nature and wildlife watching. The site is a wonderful place to park up and enjoy a totally different experience. Here, nature takes over, and you can relax as you watch the Stanislaus River flow through the park, and, perhaps, sit on a beach area and take a paddle in the river to cool off. Being California, it does get pretty hot here during the summer months, so be prepared, and, given that this is a park with lots of woodland and trees, also be prepared to encounter mosquitos and other insects.
