Sleeps 4
18 ft. long
Pet friendly

This one's light and easy to tow and can sleep up to four while remaining self contained with your own private bathroom, shower, pop out kitchen, and accommodations wherever the road may take you! The Winnebago Winnie Drop 170k is easy to tow, aerodynamic, full of features, and light enough to tow with a smaller truck or SUV. This lightweight trailer is easy to tow with an SUV, light trucks and some cars with a towing capacity of 2700 lbs. dry and 3400 lbs. loaded. The modest yet roomy design allows for 6'5" of headroom in the main living space, and a cozy feeling when lying in bed or sitting at the dinette table. Two rear bunks make room for four. It also includes a slide out to make the kitchen larger creating even more space inside of your private camping cottage. An additional solar panel can be included to keep your battery charged, and also your cell phones. Don’t overlook the modern conveniences of a bathroom, water heater, and cooking arrangements that help to make your home away from home comfortable. In fact, there are two kitchens, one inside and the other off the back. So, load up the storage and let’s go camping!

Featuring a fully equipped wet bath including a sink, hot water heater, shower, and toilet. You may also enjoy a hot shower at anytime! It also includes an awning, ceiling fan, AC unit, heater, dining table, extra storage, kitchen sink, leveling jacks, microwave, radio, two refrigerator, two stoves, toilet, and a TV. The stove and fridge use propane if you have no hookups. To aid in your comfort, the Winnie Drop sleeps four, has a 31 gallon fresh water tank, a 25 gallon Gray Water tank, a 25 gallon black water tank.

What's included

Cookware, Plates, Bowels, Utensils, and a Hot Water Pot are all included.

You legally need a break controller in your tow vehicle. If you don't have one, you're welcome to rent one from us that works through an app on your smart phone.

We will put a fitted sheet on the beds. Typically renters like to bring their own bedding. Also included is a 2" memory foam mattress pad for the main bed upon request.

All trailer fridges work best when plugged into shore power at a campground. Running a fridge from propane is meant for temporary instances between campgrounds only and will keep you food cool at best. For best results, don't overpack a fridge and use shore power.

We hope you will find our trailer, as enjoyable and comfortable as we do!

Recommendations

Explore the California Coast, inland deserts, and nearby mountains. Many National Parks abound in our area as well. All listing images are actual shots of our rig which we took on our recent vacations.

Other things to note

Before you head out the clean water tank will be full if requested. The gray/black water tanks will be empty. The gray/black water tanks should be returned in the same manner.

Please find another vehicle if you’re interested in taking our family trailer to Burning Man, Coachella, or any music festivals, as that will not be allowed. All renters also must be at least 30 years of age. You also will need to purchase Outdoorsy’s insurance. Binders are not accepted. Our trailer is a no smoking rig out of respect for our family as well as our future guests. No smoking, anything, anywhere, ever!

Tips for a great trip:
Pack light.
RV fridges are not like those in our homes. They run best when plugged in but propane can be used too. Place things that must be cold in the freezer and don't overpack it as to keep the essentials cold.

- No smoking, anything, anywhere, ever!
- Dog friendly, but please keep them off the furniture and bedding please.
- No Festivals.
- No off-roading.
- Please be aware of seasonal factors for some locations.
- Please drive safely and take wide turns.
- Please treat our family trailer with the same respect you would of your own things :)
- Have fun!!!

My kids and I had an awesome trip in this trailer. It is just big enough for a family of 3-4 to use for a great weekend getaway. The trailer is clean and well maintained. Matthew the owner was great as well. He made it easy to pick up and return and provided any additional needed equipment to tow it. Highly recommend selecting Matthew's trailer for a trip.

We spent 4 days camping in this Winnebago travel trailer along the Central Coast of California in Santa Cruz, Morro Bay and Ventura. We loved every minute of it! Our kids had plenty of space in the bunk beds, mom & dad slept on the convertible dinette, and we cooked all our meals on the double burner propane stove. Great host, very clean and well maintained trailer!

Pre Trip - It was my first time towing anything and I had all the noob questions and concerns anyone would have. Mathew was a great help and very patient through the whole process. Multiple times along the way I had questions and comments to which he responded within minutes. When you rent he even provides a walk through video on every aspect of the Trailer..

The trailer was perfect for me since I was boon dock camping and didn’t want to sleep on the ground and not have a toilet or water. It’s an easy trailer to set up and it’s comfortable! Everything worked as promised or as needed. Matthew and his white are very nice and personable. Easy to communicate with and they respond quickly to questions. Their pre-trip video is very helpful and he even let me use a solar power panel, so I could charge up my phone and or the trailer battery, if needed. Which I didn’t have to charge or refill the propane tank, after three nights camping. I recommend if you’re looking for a nice little and comfortable trailer for a getaway!
