If there’s one piece of nature that you must explore when you book an RV in Brockville, it’s the Ten Thousand Islands. While actually only consisting of about 1,800 islands in the St. Lawrence River, the region is famous for its many boating opportunities, excellent camping, and the chance to explore the Boldt Castle mansion on Heart Island. The Ten Thousand Island Bridge that connects Ontario with New York is about 25 miles away.

For something a little closer to town, check out Centeen Park. The Aquatarium at Tall Ships Landing is the perfect place for kids to learn about the unique wildlife that makes their home along the St. Lawrence River. Exhibits are highly interactive and focus on storytelling rather than presenting kids with a barrage of facts they won’t remember. The Brockville Museum is another great learning experience that tells the story of the town’s industrial past and how it’s come out the other side as a popular tourist destination.

For a little culture, make some time for a show at the Brockville Arts Center. The magnificent theater was built in the 1800s but has been restored for contemporary events.
