Meet your host, Gabriel

We love to camp with our three children but unfortunately time just gets in our way much too often because we are too busy watching our kids play sports! We decided to rent our trailer out to help pay for those extra cost that we occur for our children to stay busy and involved in all of the youth sports programs. We hope to one day have visited all fifty states, we also enjoy family barbecue's, movies, reading books, hunting, and our kids love to fish.

Enhance your trip

  • Our bad, we forgot to clean up after ourselves. All we ask is that you leave our trailer just as you found it. Guess what? We even supply the cleaning supplies for you! Otherwise we can do it for you for an extra charge.

  • This fee will be charged if RV is returned in bad shape with excessive cleaning required.

  • Dishes aren't fun to wash while you're having so much FUN, so let's say you forget or oops you put them away with food still left on them. Again, no worries...we will do them for you for a fee!

BEWARE!! They refused to do a formal check-in process. No signatures. No written rules. Bad communication/no Outdoorsy app check-in led to a misunderstanding about check-out time. They had RV booked back-to-back with another renter. (No time to properly disinfect for COVID 19.) They rented the RV to us as furnished. Then when I let them know the provided blankets smelled like dirty armpits and needed to be washed to be used, they said they have a rule that guests cannot touch their blankets. GROSS! Health and safety concerns led us to wash the blankets with laundry soap. We were charged $115 for sanitizing the provided (filthy) blankets and for using soap! She said in writing we were fined because they don’t use soap! The RV oven did not work. We had to re-work all our pre-made meals to cook over a camp fire and microwave. They blamed the previous guests and said they were going to take it out of their deposit. The RV awning was moldy and filthy. Gabriel’s wife/partner was enraged that our 18 year-old, 120 lb lifeguard daughter climbed the sturdy ladder to sunbathe on the flat RV roof rated safe for 300 lbs. Gabriel/partner retaliated by charging well over $300 of our $500 damage deposit. There was no damage! A small spill on the roof of iced tea is not damage! Overall, my impression is these people are judgmental with very poor communication skills who are running outside the app protections for the renter to take advance of the $$$$$ deposit. The value was NOT there in the end. Gabriel and his wife/partner ruined our vacation. It was my 87 year old grandmother’s first time ever camping, and we were so excited for it to be a great experience. Instead, we got stuck with rental hosts who were hostile and lacking in hospitality.

Owner was great to work with! They responded to our questions in a timely manner and were super flexible on the pick-up and drop-off times. The RV was clean, well kept, and easy to use. They even provided games, movies, and basic cooking/cleaning supplies to enhance the experience. The owner was very thorough and spent some time walking us through all the amenities.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We are super flexible with the time for picking up and dropping off the trailer. We don't turn around and rent out on the same day, so pretty much whatever is easiest for you. As far as delivery goes, we are somewhat flexible depending on the day, however we do realize the trailer will have to be picked up at or before checkout.
