Located about 15 miles northwest of Denver, Colorado is the town of Louisville. Not to be confused with the famous maker of the Louisville Slugger, the city was a mining community in the late 19th century that experienced significant violence due to labor disputes. When the final mines were closed in the 1950s, it transitioned to a suburban residential community with many of its residents working in and around the Greater Denver Area. When you search for an RV rental in Louisville, you will have no trouble finding some great deals. You’ll also discover you’re in the heart of what many consider some of the most beautiful countryside and amazing natural wonders throughout the country. To the northwest you will find the beginning of Rocky Mountain National Park. If you head slightly southwest, you can check out Golden Gate Canyon State Park near Black Hawk. Or, you could take your Louisville luxury RV rental and head further west to the Arapahoe and Roosevelt National Forests, west of Winter Park. If you’re looking for something outside of the Rocky Mountains, head northeast to the Pawnee National Grassland, just east of Fort Collins.

The Great Outdoors

If you love the great outdoors, you’ll have no trouble finding some amazing sites, picturesque scenes, and even challenging hiking trails when you have a motorhome rental in Louisville. Waneka Lake Park is in nearby Lafayette and is a pretty lake that has walking paths all around it. There’s also a playground and picnic tables. You can rent some powerboats if they are out for the season. People often take their dogs for walks and you can also get some valuable exercise.

Davidson Mesa may not be at the top of visitor lists, but it has some nice views. It is often considered a dog park, but when you head over to Front Range, the views are spectacular. This area is almost completely flat, so it’s ideal for running and those who may not have the stamina to handle more physically exerting hikes. With Louisville RV rentals by owner, this is certainly a park to check out if you just want an easy stroll and a nice afternoon under the sun.

If you’re looking for a bit more skill-laden tests, check out Indian Peaks Golf Course in nearby Lafayette. You can enjoy some amazing mountain views as you hit the links, too.

Clear Creek RV Park is located in Golden, Colorado. They do allow big rigs and have pull-thru sites as well as restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. They offer full hookup service, including 30 and 50 amp electric. You can enjoy some of the recreational trails here and do some fishing.
